@NextLevelScam@dwwtiger901@PeteThamel Your favorite player was an older player most likely. This has been going on for decades. Reclassification is nothing new
@dwwtiger901@PeteThamel Actually yes and no. It leaves open the door for kids to do a post graduate year after high school. Don’t have to reclass in middle school anymore. So it’s actually better now. Parents were going to force there kids to reclassify if they stayed with the previous ruling.
@raphousetv2 There’s a lot of people here that have no idea on NCAA rules. These parents are actually smart. The NCAA is going to change the rules that if you graduate high school your 5 year clock starts. Or your 5 year clock will start at 19 whichever comes first. So reclassifying helps now
@KendrickPerkins Has anyone read the new ncaa rule changes on aged based model? Your 5 year clock starts immediately after HS graduation or at age 19. So he’s in the correct grade actually. More parents will reclassify there kids because of the ncaa rule change
@FOS Hockey is the only sport where this is allowed which makes no sense. Why not Junior baseball or Junior basketball? Come on now hockey has gotten away with way too much having 21 year old freshman. Junior hockey is part of the problem
@SkinsHoops86 Most likely has one year left of eligibility. And within his 5 year clock window it adds up correctly. So it’s not really crazy if you understand bylaws

@JUCOadvocate Went to high of a level in college. Just like a lot of the international players you sent to coaches and schools in last couple of years.
