Most of my kid’s favorite moments from this week were tied to finding out which house they were in and as the week went on finding out what houses their friends are in @RES_RSSS
Great Day 1 Muddy Sneakers! The kids learned how to be safe when we start our expeditions in the woods in a few weeks and played some fun games with Annie and Lucy! @RES_RSSS
Moment of the Week- Though the kids favorite thing we did this week was making slime, my favorite was how they reacted to our chemical reaction bottle experiment. #chemicalreactions@RES_RSSS
Week 2- the kids struggled to come up with a “moment of the week”- Im going to try next week to remind them to look for moments, might help to show them some pictures from the week and let them pick. Here are a few moments from this week that I think stick out @mywhitson
I plan on having my kids vote on the “Moment of the Week” this year, but since it’s the 1st week, I’ll pick. Save “Fred”. Lots of laughter, communication, and encouragement from every group. It was great to see all the kids begin to feel a sense of belonging in our class 💜🚀
Today @RES_RSSS had to say goodbye to the great @mywhitson , we will miss her, but are so proud of her for all the hard work she has put in to start her journey as an administrator 💜🚀
We won the first game of the kickball tournament. We went through 7 innings of game 2 with no score, so we’ll have to try that again tomorrow 🤣 @RES_RSSS
Another fantastic GOTR 5K! So proud of these girls and my fabulous team of coaches. I can’t believe it was Ava’s last one as a Girl on the Run…unless someone @ChinaGroveMS wants to start a Heart and Sole team next year 🤞⭐️
The kids made solar ovens today to review heat transfer. Be sure to stop them in the hall and have them explain how radiation, conduction, & convection helped them make smores! @RES_RSSS
