they're both mermen who're doing their best impression of a human. so ofc the octopus, whose entire thing is blending in, will have assimilated so well that you would probably never consider he's not human. meanwhile, Rielle's so loud and janky, you can tell he's a newbie

OH I'm so late to this😭the reason Rielle's dorm design is so chaotic, cluttered and overwhelming is because it's a purposeful contrast to Azul's simple but classically timeless design that aligns well with human tastes... since he's an octopus who camouflages perfectly!
