30 minutes in the salon chair taught me a lesson in patriotism I'll never forget.

I rarely make long posts like this anymore. Hardly anyone reads them. But I had something happen today that I just had to share.

I went to get my hair cut after work at Great Clips, because I’m a cheap old woman, and this woman who’d cut my hair once before called me to her chair. She apologized for her bad English. I asked her where she was from, and she said Vietnam.

She started talking about how she came to this country. Her husband wrote letters, and she had to go through numerous interviews at the embassy. She said it took three years, but she made it here.

She told me about studying the Constitution, and how nowhere else in the world has that kind of document. She said “I love the Constitution.” She talked about her citizenship test, and how proud she was to live here.

Here’s the thing that really got me. In Vietnam, she was a doctor. Here, she cuts hair. Her English isn’t yet good enough to try and get her license here. But she told me it was worth it, because here she had freedom. “There’s no freedom in Vietnam.”

She did things the right way, gave up a career, came to America and got her citizenship and a cosmetology license, and she’s happy, because she’s FREE.

We must never take our freedoms for granted. Sometimes we forget the sacrifices people make to come here legally.

Anthony Fauci has been a medical administrator for almost all of his career.
Did you know during the covid shutdown, there was an email sent to many US physicians--actual medical doctors dealing directly with patients, that told them their medical licenses would be revoked if they said anything contrary to what Fauci and the CDC had established?
I'm far more interested in hearing what doctors who have real patients have to say about a virus than some office-bound administrator.
That this man refuses to comment on his careless "guidance" after trying to destroy the very doctors we should have been hearing to begin with is indefensible.
