During this season we have trained a team in CAP Money, to support families and individuals with money management...because now more than ever, every penny counts! Later this Autumn we will be able to offer even more 1:1 or small group support #capmoney https://t.co/5KanCEQifz
From allotment to table in 24 hours. These organic fresh carrots were sown from seeds donated, grown and harvested by participants on the Allotment project, and given to a very grateful large family at Northampton Food Bank. You can't more fresh & free than that!
Re:store has continued it's commitment to loving Northampton, GIVING rather than receiving this harvest. We have not asked for any donations, but instead blessed 4 schools with incredible hampers of essentials and goodies for families that will make a difference this half-term!
"I just received my visa and have got a care job, I start work today, thank you so much for all your help and concerns, we could not have done this without you" Re:store Northampton loves to pass on the good news shared by our families (with permission). #goodnews#restoringlives
Most years at Harvest, schools & churches generously collect for Re:store Northampton. This year we have turned it on it's head...REVERSE HARVEST. Through October we are working with schools to bless families with extra gifts of groceries this Harvest time. #lovenorthampton

World Teachers Day 2020. This year, more than ever, many families will be thankful for the hard work & role of teachers. Schools are one of our biggest referral agencies, supporting families and identifying the need, and helping us to help them. THANK YOU TEACHERS OF NORTHAMPTON!
Today, the Joseph Rowntree Foundation has joined with 50+ organisations to urge the Government to #KeepTheLifeline and make the £20 increase to #UniversalCredit permanent. It’s vital the Government does not whip this lifeline away and plunge 700,000 people into poverty overnight
Every parcel is a child, with a story. Every parcel filled with new or nearly new clothes, toys and treats as well as essentials for the household such as laundry detergent, hand sanitiser, shower gel and a massive box of biscuits for everyone to share. Every parcel counts.
More wonderful produce from the allotment that we were able to give to those receiving food parcels this week. It is so good to be able to give fresh produce to recipients and is always much appreciated.
This week is Volunteers’ Week. We’d like to thank all of our volunteers, those who are helping us and those who are on ‘standby’ for when we can restart out projects again. Our projects couldn't function without their dedication to helping the most vulnerable in Northampton.
Thanks to the adaptive and creative response from the team, our Nest Parents and children group is continuing to reach families in their homes. The team host a weekly live Zoom call including a story and singing, as well as sharing a weekly video message.
Some recent sunny photos from our Allotment to brighten your day! Thank you to our volunteers who are working really hard to manage the upkeep of the plots so that we're ready to welcome guests back to the project when it is safe to do so.
Thanks to everyone at Barclaycard, who continue to be generous supporters of ours. Thanks to their generosity, over the past few weeks we've been able to include Easter Eggs in our food parcels. Here's a picture from when they delivered the eggs to us, prior to the lockdown.
Grateful thanks for the support of all the NTTP and NSB staff for their generous donations to @RestoreNpton showing wonderful Christmas spirit! @NSBSchool#reverseadvent
