We hear about some constables to low level officers amassing say even Rs.100 crores through corruption.
This is the kind of wealth even many successful entrepreneurs and professionals cannot build in their entire life time.
We are one of the very corrupt societies in the world.
@NammaBESCOM I really can't comprehend the fact that in the so called Silicon Valley of India, in 2026, the power goes off even for a slightest hint of rain.
What a joke.
@NammaBESCOM
Power Outage more than an hour
There has been no power supply. Kindly look into this issue at the earliest and restore the supply.

Not expected this in a city like Bangalore.
Indian Economy is now a race to the bottom.
1) To win election you need to give freebies
2) To give freebies you need to divert capital from long-term plans. And, tax people more.
3) No long-term planning= poor growth.
Poor growth = increases the need for freebies.
We are basically in a death loop.
What if I told you there's a group in India that:
Pays full taxes ✅
Gets ZERO subsidies ✅
Competes at 100% merit ✅
Has the LEAST political representation ✅
Can you guess who?
Hint: You're probably one of them.
People who think that government is there to help you plan your retirement-- are absolute fools.
If the government actually cared about you sipping martinis on a beach, they would:-
1) Solve the pollution problem
2) Pay FD rates higher than 10%
3) Let you withdraw money at will from EPF and stuff
4) Cut the stamp duty by 50% on houses (so that you can own one)
5) Let you borrow money for an education loan (at less than 5% rate of interest), so that you can stop worrying about your kid's education expenses
6) Give you a guaranteed compensation for losing your job (in case you have been paying taxes regularly)
They do none of these things.
Our Government sends us reminders daily to file ITR on time.
Why can’t we send similar message to authorities when we see a pothole?
"Dear Government, there’s a pothole on Ring Road. Please check it here (Google Map link)"
Accountability should be two-way in a Democracy!
- A firm built a 45 km stretch in kerala in 2006 still pothole free after 19 years.
- Project Head died by suicide due to payment delays and no further contracts naming officials in his note.
Reason why India can't become a corruption free country
Minimum Recharge to talk with someone on Call in 2014

Minimum Recharge to talk with someone on Call in 2025

No one is speaking about this Open loot.
My wife got UPSC Rank 8th. She was a group A service officer (Indian Economic Service).
Most of her career, she would be in Delhi.
Looking at the pollution situation.
And, our young son, she decided to quit.
Was the decision difficult? Yes (like who leaves a Group A government job?) Do we regret 1 bit? absolutely not.
1) None of the governments give a shit.
2) Citizens are mostly brainwashed.
3) And, the onus is on you to save yourself.
For some it would be quitting your UPSC jobs.
For others it would be quitting your private jobs.
For some it would be quitting your business.
Point is: if you want to protect your health, you gotta do something about it. And, fuck the political debate.
