Mary Anne MacLeod was born on May 10, 1912, in the village of Tong on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland.
She was the youngest of ten children in a large family. She grew up in a simple home where Gaelic was spoken and life was modest.
In 1930, when she was still a teenager, Mary Anne decided to leave Scotland to start a new life. On May 2, she left Glasgow on a ship called the RMS Transylvania. After several days at sea, she arrived in New York City on May 11, just one day after her 18th birthday.
Immigration records show she worked as a domestic worker when she came to the United States. She also arrived with only $50 in her pocket.
Life in America slowly changed for her. She later met Fred Trump, a businessman from New York.
They fell in love and got married on January 11, 1936. Together, they built a family and had five children: Maryanne, Fred Jr., Elizabeth, Donald, and Robert.
Her son Donald Trump later became one of the most well-known political figures in the United States and served as the 45th and 47th President.
Mary Anne MacLeod's life story is often remembered as a journey from a small Scottish village to a new life in America.
It shows how she left behind a quiet rural childhood and built a family that later became widely known around the world through business and politics and public life over many decades. ♥️
A very poor woman with a small family called a radio station to ask God for help.
A wealthy non-believer who was listening to the program decided to make fun of her.
He obtained her address, called his secretary, and instructed her to buy a large amount of food and deliver it to the woman's house.
However, he gave her one special instruction:
“When the woman asks who sent the food, tell her it came from the devil.”
The secretary delivered the food to the woman's home.
The woman was overjoyed and deeply grateful. She immediately began carrying the groceries into her small house.
After watching for a few moments, the secretary asked,
“Don't you want to know who sent all this food?”
The woman smiled and replied,
“No. Please thank whoever sent it.
I don't care who the person is, because when God gives an order, even the devil has to obey”

@brianalmon How it looked from here:
I have been on the platform committee since 2016 and watched many battles over who got to add or delete from it, it took me and a couple others 6 years to change one line in the preamble to make it stronger, you just tried to throw it out with the baby.
For over twenty years, an engineer named Richard Bernstein did precisely what his doctors ordered.
He ate the diet the American Diabetes Association blessed, close to half of it carbohydrate, and chased the resulting flood of sugar with large doses of insulin. It was killing him. By his mid-thirties his body was breaking down: failing kidneys, nerve damage, the early wreckage of a Type 1 diabetic who had been told in 1946 he would be lucky to reach forty.
The treatment was textbook. The patient was dying on it.
In 1969 he got hold of a machine that blew the whole thing open. It was a blood glucose meter, a three-pound box sold only to hospitals to tell an unconscious diabetic from a drunk. Bernstein could get one at all only because his wife was a doctor and it was bought in her name.
He began measuring his own blood sugar several times a day, the first patient in the world known to do it. What the numbers showed was damning. His levels were swinging violently outside any safe range, on the exact diet the experts had sworn by.
So he ran the experiment they never bothered to run. He cut the carbohydrate hard and swapped the big insulin doses for small, precise ones. His blood sugars flattened to near normal. His complications began to reverse.
He had cracked tight control for Type 1, the type the profession insisted diet could never touch, and the very same approach worked for Type 2.
Then came the most telling part of all. When he tried to publish what had just saved his life, the journals turned him away, not on the evidence, but because he was an engineer and not a physician. So at the age of 45 he enrolled in medical school, for the sole purpose of earning the right to be heard. He qualified, opened his own practice, and spent the next several decades proving the establishment wrong one patient at a time.
The profession never really thanked him for it. It had spent years handing a high-carbohydrate diet to people whose defining problem is that they cannot handle carbohydrate, and then blaming those same people when they fell apart.
Bernstein lived with Type 1 diabetes for 78 years and died last year at 90. He outlived a great many of the experts who swore it could not be done, and a great many more of the patients who were simply given the official advice and told to trust it.
On his way out, Biden pardoned two people. His son Hunter. And Dr. Tony Fauci. Both pardons start the clock on the exact same month: January 2014.
That's not a coincidence. That's a confession.

@sjkokinda
They still believe they can separate you from Trump.
It starts with attempting to sew doubt in your mind about his decision making, and intentions.
Foundationally, if they can get you to entertain the idea that President Trump is "betraying the American people," they can then begin the work of shaming you for still supporting him by calling you "naive and in a cult."
This psychological formula isn't organic or naturally occurring. Shame is hands down the most weaponized method of mass mind control we've seen intelligence agencies around the world, use for decades.
Essentially, you do all of the above while simultaneously flooding media with pundits and social media experts all carrying similar messages of feeling betrayed and angry. When you do this enough, on a large enough scale, people begin to think they're the weird ones for still supporting President Trump and second guessing their own discernment and logic.
These tactics are nefarious, wildly effective and tried and true. By the time you figure out you've been manipulated, you've already crashed out, said something stupid publicly, or even worse, taken actionable steps to do something dangerous or illegal (see latest FBI case regarding an attack on the UFC 250 event).
Solution?
God, community, and a winning mindset.
When you pray daily, and ask for clarity and discernment, you give God the authority to assist you in seeing light from dark, true from false, good from evil.
Community is even more important as now that you've thwarted the psyop, you then surround yourself with like-minded, spiritually in tune, patriotic and loyal people. No longer feeling isolated, and shamed, you can lean on one another to walk through the darkness together.
The winning mindset is that you trust your own judgment, you trust God's guidance, and also trust that the community you've built is rational enough to see past any psyop, lie or agenda.
Never let them separate you from God, community and self-respect. In doing so you become impervious to the attempts at separating you from the President, and his vision for Making America Great Again.
Tommy Tuberville just said what millions of MAGA voters have been screaming at Senate Republicans for years: stop begging weak Republicans to help President Trump and start playing hardball. Tuberville is now openly calling for GOP Senators to lose their committee chairmanships if they block nuking the zombie filibuster or side with Democrats on key amendments, and honestly, that pressure should have started a long time ago. Republicans keep acting shocked when nothing gets done, but then they protect Senators who sabotage the agenda while still rewarding them with power, influence, and leadership positions just because of “seniority.” Tuberville nailed the real problem. Too many committee chairs are there because they have been in Washington forever, not because they are the best fighters for the America First movement. The base is tired of hearing excuses, tired of hearing “process,” and tired of watching weak Republicans slow-walk Trump’s agenda while Democrats fight like every vote is war. Tuberville’s message is simple: if you want the power, then back the agenda. If not, step aside and let someone else do the job. That is the kind of pressure MAGA voters want to see from Senate leadership instead of endless compromise and excuses.

At this rate, the doomers are going to need even more intensive mental health care.
In 1919 a New York physician got so fed up with watching his patients get worse that he went to a museum to ask the dead for advice.
His name was Blake Donaldson. He had a practice full of people who were overweight, ill, and getting steadily worse no matter what the medicine of the day threw at them, and he had run clean out of ideas. So he walked into the American Museum of Natural History, found the anthropologists, and asked them the question no respectable doctor was supposed to ask. What did healthy humans actually eat before all of this?
They showed him the skulls. Ancient ones. Pre-agricultural ones. And the teeth stopped him in his tracks. No decay. No crowding. No abscesses. Rows of clean, strong, untroubled teeth belonging to people who had never met a dentist, a toothbrush, or a sack of flour. The anthropologists told him about the Plains hunters who lived on buffalo, and about pemmican, the dense brick of dried meat and rendered fat that carried men through a North American winter on next to nothing else.
Donaldson went back to his surgery and did something that would get a modern doctor hauled in front of a committee. He put his patients on meat.
Fat meat, specifically. Roughly six ounces of lean with two ounces of visible fat, three times a day, from beef or lamb. Coffee. Water. That was the prescription. He stripped out what he called the worst offenders, the flour and the sugar and the sweet milk, and he watched what happened.
What happened was they got better. The weight came off without hunger, because he insisted they eat enough and eat often. The blood pressure settled. The gallstones, the migraines, the aching joints, the sour stomachs, the whole catalogue of modern complaints he had been failing to shift for years began, quietly, to resolve. He kept going. By the end he had run something like seventeen thousand patients through this regime over roughly forty years, which is a working lifetime of evidence rather than a passing fad.
He wrote it down in a book called Strong Medicine in 1961.
The establishment's response was swift and familiar. One prominent figure pronounced the book hardly scientific. Another filed Donaldson under food faddism and implied he had simply forgotten whatever he once knew about nutrition. A man with forty years of patient outcomes was waved off by people armed with a theory and a grievance, and the profession moved smoothly on to the low-fat advice that has served us so brilliantly ever since.
He was not a guru and never pretended to be one. He thought he was just copying what those museum skulls had been quietly demonstrating for ten thousand years, which is about the most honest thing a doctor has ever said about diet.
The book is still in print. The skulls are still in the case. And the advice that buried him is still printed on the side of the cereal box.
🧵 Here is the TRUTH: Dangerous gain-of-function research was funded by the U.S. government around the world, directed and approved by people like Dr Fauci. @DNIGabbard exposed that yesterday.
Using U.S. government data, put together and uncovered by career subject matter experts in the Intelligence Community and other government agencies, yesterday’s release highlighted one example of the many overseas biolabs funded by the U.S., the research conducted there, and the significant risks they pose to the world, especially when located in a country at war.
