I've stayed far away from the radioactive Cornell discourse, but I do want to make one meta-observation.
I spend a lot of time in different corners of the internet, and the two 'sides' of the Cornell story are living in separate universes. Entirely different facts, wildly separate narratives. Spend time in different social media spaces and it's like they're describing two totally distinct incidents.
There's almost no shared reality whatsoever, and that strikes me as really dangerous.
@IANdrewDiceClay “Bret this man can shoot lightning from his fingertips”
“Yeah well you know, whats nothing compared to what my father put me through back in Calgary”
my little pac story was at a dguk meet and greet. i wanted to tell masato yoshino that he was my favourite wrestler and pac offered to translate. he turns to yoshino and in broken english shouts “YOU. HIM. FAVOURITE WRESTLER” and yoshino is very appreciative and shakes my hand.
Long live the King.
Ben protected and took care of the cruiserweight brothers every week. I will never forget his kindness. I will never forget the feeling of realizing he is the absolute best all around performer I have been in the ring with. I will never forget him standing up to the machine.
I will never forget our King.
Rest easy, Ben.
not to say that it isn’t heartbreaking when a wrestler passes, but every so often there’s one that just absolutely stuns me to my core because it’s impossible to wrap my head around them being gone and just… this is one of those times dude. what the fuck.
@JoeLongBalls Unless you have a really shitty build by the end of the game (like I did my first playthrough), it's probably the hardest part of the game.
Yesterday I saw a comment saying Resident Evil 9 has a 72% completion rate on steam, which is so much higher than the average AAA game that I thought it was a joke.
Then I checked. Jesus Capcom…
seriously messed up the incantation on my terra cotta army and now I have 8,000 animated "worriers" who will not stop asking if I turned the stove off before we left for war
