Yep the River Avon at Salisbury was designated as a bathing spot on 15th May and just 13 days later on the 28th the EA have to issue a pollution warning due to E. coli levels. What a shambles.

South East Water get fined £22 million which I guarantee will never get paid and certainly not by the shareholders and meanwhile they've put up water bills by 7% which will generate £42 million this year alone.

Enough of the bullshit, enough of the rhetoric, enough of the fiddling around the edges, enough of rearranging the deckchairs, enough of pointless commissions and even more pointless reports, enough of the lying, enough of the deceit, enough of the gaslighting, enough of the masquerade, enough of the pretending it's time for govt to get a grip, to show leadership, to show determination, to do the right thing, to act.

It's time to put the water industry back into public ownership and the time to do that is now.
