It IS staging. The use of Texas Switch in SSE side B is same as in "In The Mood for Love" & same way Virumaandi climax was inspired from Spartacus. The use of coins + towel + back story is what makes the fight bigger, dramatic and one of the best ever - not the use of On/Off.
