Unfortunately, I’m not a morning person, and as I get older, I’m no longer a night owl, so I’ve realized I’m basically a college professor during office hours, reachable between 11:30 and 12:30 or 3 and 4, or not at all.
Everytime my mom gave birth, my grandparents planted a citrus tree so it could grow along with us. Kimber was a sweet orange, Shayna was a tangerine, and I got grapefruit. When I was younger I hated being the grapefruit kid. I loved tangerines and was so upset that mine was so sour. I always thought it meant I was the least favorite because as a kid I couldn't understand who would pick a grapefruit over a sweet orange, and my tree was always filled with fruit nobody picked. This has no hidden meaning but I just ate a bag of 6 grapefruit in a night and I get it. I am the grapefruit kid.
Spending 5 billion dollars on books - totally fine, acceptable, love it, would 10/10 do it again
Spending Rs. 700 on a cup of coffee for myself - capitalism has ruined our country, I am broke, will definitely never financially recover from this terrible beverage purchase
