Minutes later, he returned wearing body armor and carrying an AR-15-style rifle before opening fire. Marine veteran Ramell Green stepped in to protect his family from a hate-fueled attack. Black families deserve to gather, celebrate, and make memories without fear of becoming targets. This was no misunderstanding but a deliberate act that endangered the lives of children and elders. When innocent lives are put in the crosshairs of hate, accountability is not optional and justice is NOT negotiable.
