BREAKING: "SOMEBODY NEEDS TO GO TO JAIL!" Jim Acosta ERUPTS after Trump’s board votes to put his name back on Kennedy Center facade.
Journalist Jim Acosta unloaded on Donald Trump and his handpicked Kennedy Center board Thursday, warning that their latest attempt to plaster Trump's name on the building could land someone in serious legal trouble.
The backstory: a federal judge already ordered Trump's name removed from the Kennedy Center's facade. Instead of complying gracefully, workers left a tarp where the name used to be. Now the board has gone further, voting to inscribe new text beneath the main signage reading "Restored and Renovated by President Donald J. Trump" — a move the New York Times calls "an aggressive test" of the judge's order, with the board directing officials to act by "all legal means."
Acosta wasn't having it. "The fact that the Kennedy Center board would actually vote to inscribe his name on the building beneath the main signage is absolute crazy town nuttery!" he said. "Something needs to be done."
He didn't stop there. "If they start chiseling Donald Trump's name into the side of that building—or doing something to change the signage of that building in violation of a judge's order—somebody needs to go to jail! And we know it's not going to be Donald Trump, because Donald Trump will do everything possible to not go to jail. But somebody on that Kennedy Center board, the construction crews who are out there—they should know that you are not to take a chisel to the Kennedy Center and put that crazy lunatic's name on the side of that building!"
Acosta drove home why this matters beyond the legal technicalities: "It is not his building! The building was not named in his honor." He called the Kennedy Center "one of our cultural icons," warning that Trump defacing "a living memorial to John F. Kennedy, who was a real president of the United States" with his own name would be a genuine act of desecration — carried out, in Acosta's words, by "this reality TV game show, dime-store Richard Nixon who wants to act like a crook and thinks he can get away with it all the time."
Acosta's message was blunt: the board members and construction crews defying a federal judge's order aren't just embarrassing themselves. They're exposing themselves to real legal jeopardy to satisfy one man's ego.
While we hope that they do pay the consequences, we know that they’re all just a Trump pardon away from going scot-free. Such is justice in the age of the orange criminal.
Please like and share if you think Jim Acosta is spot on in his outrage!
Happy Birthday to my Dawn ♥️
My rock. My greatest protector. My motivator. My best friend. My home.
You have stood by me through every chapter – the victories, the hard days, the moments when I was certain of myself and the moments I wasn’t. You push me to dream bigger, remind me of who I am and never let me forget what I am capable of.
If I’ve done anything right in this life, it is loving you and choosing you, every single day.
You are the foundation of our family – the one who keeps us grounded, brings us together, loves us fiercely, and somehow always knows exactly what we need.
I got your back, always 😘
Under the cover of darkness, Republicans confirmed Donald Trump’s personal lawyer to serve as Attorney General.
The American people deserve a Justice Department that defends the rule of law, not one weaponized to protect the President, reward his allies & shield his corruption.
Happy birthday, @BarackObama! 65 never looked better. Every day, you make me a better person, and I’m thankful for all the ways you show up for our family and our country. Love you. ❤️
For over a year, I’ve warned that Donald Trump and Republicans across the country are working to rig the system and weaken voting rights.
Today, the Maryland General Assembly took action to pass a constitutional amendment that, if ratified by voters in November, will ensure that Marylanders – and no one else – have the final say over their representation.

The late Rev Jesse Jackson was looking down today with a deep sense of pride as Barack Obama chose his funeral to unload on what had been a long time coming. This was some both barrels rhetoric right here.
Can we put the brakes of this tyranny in November? YES WE CAN, AND WE WILL.

I’ve been clear from Day One: If other states are determining whether or not they have fair maps, so will Maryland.

The federal government’s recent actions – including defunding rural hospitals and jeopardizing the health of Marylanders on Medicaid – aren’t just bad for people living in cities.
Rural Marylanders, our Eastern Shore, and tens of thousands of vulnerable Marylanders are being screwed over, all so the President can cut taxes for millionaires.
But we in Maryland are proving there is a better way.
