Had to do the big shop today. @RevRichardColes is out tonight so I thought a simple supper. Fresh oysters with a gin and tonic and I bought myself some flowers too.

@DiEnglot If you make your own, I find, when you crack open the pastry you know it’s decent cuts and deep-filled. Not like those crap pies at service stations which look so promising until you have to get a magnifying glass out to find the filling.

@TommyCoyneBN1 @RevRichardColes @Pontifex At home we have a 3 pieced carved nativity set we got from Sandringham. On epiphany the 3 ‘screens’ fold out revealing a beautiful scene with the magi surrounding the Holy Family. Then I know it is done. It’s like a dramatic full stop before the next chapter.
@simonjansen @RevRichardColes @amandacjansen Dolly film is not unlike a radio play or a stage production. The point, it seems, is to tell her story from her perspective through the eyes, in a balanced way, of the characters she created. If that makes sense?
