@BreitbartNews@ICEgov If they reviewed enough #H1B applications then it wouldn’t just be attorneys - it would sweep up a bunch of phony staffing agencies too
@joelpollak And start asking why Ireland, Norway, et al, on UN “peacekeeping” watch did nothing to stop the buildup of munitions and launch sites? While Ireland debates its neutrality domestically they sure have a bad track record of supporting any group murdering Jews and Catholics!
@breakingnewsie How can the Irish Defence Forces ever claim to be neutral? When Lebanese Catholic soldiers tried to push PLO invaders out of southern Lebanon it was the Irish who protected the PLO. Perhaps they were “blue shirts” in love with extremists?
@yechielleiter@IsraelinUSA Imagine that Irish, Norwegian, and other countries had their soldiers on “peacekeeping” missions who stood idle while this was done right in front of them.
@danielthemate Thine enemies enemy has left them supporting groups who have a history of persecution and violence against the millions of Lebanese Catholic Nationalists.
If you’re going to project Ireland onto the Middle East then it’s best to equate Hezbollah/ Hamas as the UDA and the LVF 😉
@LewisJonathanE@danielthemate I’m struck that the greater mystery is the complete ignorance in Ireland about the millions of Catholics in the Levantine - eg how over 30,000 Lebanese Catholics were killed by the PLO around the same time as the IRA/INLA killed 338.
@MichaelPTKelly@ArchbishopEamon@irish_news@ireland_acn Michael - as people on the island of Ireland have jumped on a binary model of the Middle East as a conflict between Judaism and Islam it would be so very refreshing to hear a perspective that was inclusive of Catholicism and understanding the pressure on Christian worship ❤️ 🙏
@jennfrey Does skilling the tech worker belong in the same academy as fostering elite thinking for the kids of the wealthy? We pondered these questions in my first semester of Graduate Theology at a large Catholic university. Kids of lower income families desperately seek vocational study.
@marginview@NiallStanage Of course, we like to remind people that the “college” - St Columb’s - yielded two Nobel Prize winners. The other was a true social democrat: a man who led the people on the streets and not some US Democrat engaged in insider trading and phony identity politics while Rome burns.
@Glinner Let’s make this really simple: a small number of cops in a context of the culture of “not speaking up” and strong Fraternal Order backing does not make for universal problems with law enforcement. To say otherwise is the literal definition of prejudice. Weed out the problems.
