@lisacon65153949 That's what stood out to me too. You don't have to agree with everything someone has done to recognize a thoughtful message. A little more grace and a little less tribalism would go a long way.
@Kenderkoba I get that. But the point wasn't to take a swipe it was to reflect on how politics changed relationships and to express hope that Americans can disagree without becoming enemies. That's a goal worth sharing, regardless of who you support.
@julie23058698 Respectfully, people can disagree about Trump's record and Biden's. The point of the post wasn't to relitigate every policy it was that political opponents can disagree fiercely without losing their humanity. That's something worth preserving regardless of who's in office.
@Brenmco Sometimes the messenger distracts from the message. Doesn't make the message any less true. The real question is whether we're willing to judge ideas on their merit rather than who said them.
