DON’T LET FINANCIAL PRESSURE PUSH YOU OUT OF COVENANT PRACTICE.

Pastor Joshua Areogun said:

“Withholding your tithe during financial hardship digs you into a deeper hole, practically guaranteeing you will not escape it.”

Financial pressure has a way of making people rethink what they once believed strongly.

But hardship is not the time to abandon obedience.

It is the time to become even more deliberate about doing things God’s way.

The Bible says:

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” — Malachi 3:10 KJV

And again:

“Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.” — Proverbs 3:9–10 KJV

The temptation in a difficult season is to say:

“I cannot afford to obey.”

But covenant living requires you to settle that your obedience is not dependent on convenience.

Do not allow fear to rewrite your convictions.

Do not let pressure become your financial adviser.

Stay faithful.

Stay disciplined.

Stay obedient.

DECLARE IT: I WILL HONOUR GOD WITH MY FINANCES IN EVERY SEASON. PRESSURE WILL NOT MOVE ME OUT OF OBEDIENCE. I RECEIVE WISDOM, DISCIPLINE, PROVISION, AND GRACE TO REMAIN FAITHFUL IN COVENANT PRACTICE.

If this speaks to you, declare:

I WILL NOT LET FINANCIAL PRESSURE MOVE ME OUT OF OBEDIENCE.

[Rev. Olusola Areogun @ReverendAreogun]

STAY SENSITIVE TO DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS.

Pastor Joshua Areogun said:
“When dealing with God, you must always remain very sensitive to His divine instructions.”

Many mistakes are not because God did not speak.
They happen because people were not sensitive enough to recognise, remember, or respond to what He said.

Divine instructions can come as a warning.
A restraint.
A direction.
A conviction.
A prompting.
A clear word from Scripture.
And sometimes, one instruction from God can save you from years of avoidable trouble.

The Bible says:
“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.” — Isaiah 30:21 KJV
Sensitivity matters.
You must not become too busy to hear.
Too emotional to discern.
Too determined to obey.
Too familiar with God’s dealings to take His instructions lightly.

DECLARE IT: I WILL REMAIN SENSITIVE TO GOD. I WILL HEAR HIS INSTRUCTIONS CLEARLY, DISCERN HIS LEADING ACCURATELY, AND OBEY HIM PROMPTLY. I WILL NOT MISS DIVINE DIRECTION THROUGH DISTRACTION, CARELESSNESS, OR SELF-WILL.

If this speaks to you, declare:
LORD, KEEP MY HEART SENSITIVE TO YOUR INSTRUCTIONS.

[Rev. Olusola Areogun @ReverendAreogun]

GOD’S INSTRUCTIONS ARE CONNECTED TO HIS AGENDA FOR YOUR LIFE.

Pastor Joshua Areogun said:

“When God gives an instruction, it is relative to His agenda for your life—the best-case scenario He meticulously designed before you were born.”

This is why divine instructions must never be treated casually.

God is not giving instructions to make life difficult.

He is guiding you into what He already designed for you.

The Bible says:

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” — Ephesians 2:10 KJV

And again:

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” — Psalm 32:8 KJV

Every instruction from God is connected to purpose.

Every warning can preserve you.

Every correction can realign you.

Every direction can move you closer to what He planned.

Do not measure divine instruction by convenience.

Measure it by obedience.

Sometimes what God asks you to do may not make immediate sense, but obedience can position you inside the very future He prepared for you.

DECLARE IT: I WILL NOT TREAT GOD’S INSTRUCTIONS LIGHTLY. I RECEIVE GRACE TO HEAR, UNDERSTAND, AND OBEY HIM. I WILL WALK IN THE PATH HE PREPARED FOR ME, AND I WILL NOT MISS HIS AGENDA FOR MY LIFE.

If this speaks to you, declare:

LORD, ALIGN ME WITH YOUR AGENDA FOR MY LIFE.

#PastorJoshuaAreogun #TheDreamCentre #DivineInstruction #Purpose #DivineAgenda #Obedience #Destiny #GreaterWor

[Rev. Olusola Areogun @ReverendAreogun]

DISOBEDIENCE IS NEVER NEUTRAL.

Pastor Joshua Areogun said:

“Every time you disobey God, you consciously choose to obey your own selfish desires, needs, agendas, or plans instead.”

That is the seriousness of disobedience.

When God speaks, there is always a choice before you:

His will or yours.

His instruction or your preference.

His agenda or your own plan.

The Bible says:

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” — John 14:15 KJV

And again:

“And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” — 1 Samuel 15:22 KJV

Disobedience may sometimes look small.

A delayed instruction.

A resisted correction.

A convenient excuse.

A personal preference.

But every act of disobedience strengthens self-will.

That is why obedience must become a settled lifestyle.

DECLARE IT: I WILL NOT CHOOSE MY WILL ABOVE GOD’S WILL. I RENOUNCE SELF-WILL, SELFISH DESIRES, AND PERSONAL AGENDAS THAT CONFLICT WITH GOD’S INSTRUCTIONS. I RECEIVE GRACE TO OBEY GOD FULLY, PROMPTLY, AND JOYFULLY.

If this speaks to you, declare:

LORD, YOUR WILL ABOVE MINE.

#PastorJoshuaAreogun #TheDreamCentre #Obedience #WillOfGod #DivineInstruction #SpiritualGrowth #GreaterWorks

[Rev. Olusola Areogun @ReverendAreogun]

GOD WILL NEVER LEAD YOU INTO DESTRUCTION.

Pastor Joshua Areogun said:

“God will never lead you astray or into anything that will hurt you; you must deeply understand this truth in your heart and spirit.”

One of the greatest foundations of obedience is knowing the character of God.

If you are not convinced that God is good, you will struggle to trust His instructions.

If you think His direction is meant to deprive you, you will resist Him.

If you think His boundaries are punishment, you will fight them.

But the truth is this:

God leads with wisdom.
God leads with love.
God leads with purpose.
God leads with your destiny in view.
The Bible says:
“The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.” — Psalm 37:23 KJV
And again:

“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.” — Psalm 32:8 KJV

So when God says go, trust Him.

When He says wait, trust Him.

When He says no, trust Him.

When He redirects you, trust Him.

When His instruction does not immediately make sense, trust His character.

God sees what you cannot see.

He knows the end from the beginning.

DECLARE IT: I TRUST THE LEADING OF GOD. I WILL NOT FEAR HIS INSTRUCTIONS. I KNOW THAT HIS WISDOM IS GREATER THAN MINE, HIS WAYS ARE RIGHT, AND HIS DIRECTION WILL LEAD ME INTO HIS PURPOSE FOR MY LIFE.

If this speaks to you, declare:

LORD, I TRUST YOUR LEADING.

THIS IS LOVE: GOD SENT HIS SON SO THAT YOU MIGHT LIVE.

The Bible says:

“In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.” — 1 John 4:9 KJV

God did not merely tell us that He loves us.

He demonstrated it.

He sent Jesus.

He gave His Son.

He made a way for us to receive forgiveness, eternal life, reconciliation and a new beginning.

The cross is proof that God’s love is not empty words.

It is love that acted.

Love that gave.

Love that came looking for us.

Love that made life available through Jesus Christ.

If you have been measuring God’s love by your circumstances, look again at the cross.

Jesus is the evidence that God loves you.

And the invitation is still open.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16 KJV

If you have never surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, you can do so today.

Pray sincerely:

Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my old life and receive You as my Lord and Saviour. Forgive me, cleanse me, and give me eternal life. From today, I belong to You. Amen.

DECLARE IT: I RECEIVE THE LOVE OF GOD. I RECEIVE THE LIFE THAT IS IN CHRIST JESUS. I WILL WALK IN THE REALITY OF HIS LOVE AND LIVE FOR HIM!

THERE IS NO OTHER NAME THAT SAVES — JESUS CHRIST ALONE.

The Bible says:

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12 KJV

Salvation is not found in religion.

It is not found in good works.

It is not found in morality alone.

It is not found in any other name.

Salvation is in Jesus Christ.

He died for our sins.

He rose again.

He conquered death.

And through Him, forgiveness and eternal life are available to everyone who believes.

The Bible says:

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” — Romans 10:9 KJV

If you have never truly surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, you can do that today.

Pray sincerely:

Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I turn away from my old life and receive You as my Lord and Saviour. Forgive me, cleanse me, and give me eternal life. From today, I belong to You. Amen.

Do not postpone the most important decision of your life.

JESUS IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE.

Jesus said:
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” — John 14:6 KJV
Jesus did not say He would merely show the way.

He said:
“I AM THE WAY.”
He did not say He knew some truth.

He said:
“I AM THE TRUTH.”
And He did not simply promise a better life.

He said:
“I AM THE LIFE.”
Salvation is not found in religion, good works, morality, status, or human effort.
It is found in Jesus Christ.
He died for our sins.
He rose again.
He opened the way back to the Father.
And eternal life is available to everyone who believes in Him.

The Bible says:
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12 KJV
If you have never truly surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, you can do so today.

PRAY:
Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I repent of my sins and receive You as my Lord and Saviour. Forgive me, cleanse me, and give me eternal life. From today, I belong to You. Amen.

SAVED AND SAFE — YOU ARE NOT TRULY SAFE UNTIL YOU ARE SAVED.

You can have money and still not be safe.
You can have security around your house and still not be safe.
You can have influence, connections, good health, plans for the future, and still not be safe.
Why?

Because the greatest danger facing man is not poverty, sickness, failure, or even death.
It is eternity without Christ.

Jesus said:
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” — Mark 8:36 KJV

Real safety begins with salvation.
To be saved is to be rescued from sin, reconciled to God, and given eternal life through Jesus Christ.

The Bible says:
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12 KJV

You are not safe because you are a good person.
You are not safe because you go to church.
You are not safe because your parents are Christians.
You are not safe because you believe there is a God.
You are safe when you are saved through Jesus Christ.
And salvation is available today.

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” — Romans 10:13 KJV

If you have never truly surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, pray sincerely:
Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I repent of my sins and receive You as my Lord and Saviour. Forgive me, cleanse me, and give me eternal life. From today, I belong to You. Amen.

GO BACK AND CHECK THE INSTRUCTIONS.

Pastor Joshua Areogun said:

“You must actively examine your life for any instructions from God you have failed to obey or fulfil.”

Sometimes the next step is not a new word.

Sometimes the next step is obedience to the last instruction.

There are prayers we keep praying when the real issue is an instruction we have delayed, ignored, or left unfinished.

The Bible says:

“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” — Isaiah 1:19 KJV

And again:

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” — James 1:22 KJV

Take time to examine your life.

What has God told you to do?

What did you start but not finish?

What instruction did you postpone?

What correction did you receive but never act on?

What step of obedience have you been avoiding?

Do not keep asking God for fresh direction while neglecting what He has already made clear.

DECLARE IT: I WILL NOT BE A HEARER ONLY. I RECEIVE GRACE TO OBEY GOD FULLY, PROMPTLY, AND ACCURATELY. EVERY OUTSTANDING INSTRUCTION WILL BE ADDRESSED, AND I WILL WALK IN COMPLETE OBEDIENCE TO GOD.

If this speaks to you, declare:

LORD, SHOW ME EVERY INSTRUCTION I NEED TO COMPLETE.

👁️ WHAT LENS ARE YOU USING TO SEE LIFE?

Every battle you lose first started with a wrong perspective.
The enemy doesn’t always attack with force —
he attacks with distortion.

If he can get you to see life through his lens,
he can weaken your faith, confuse your judgment, and wear you down.

📖 “We must live our lives from God’s perspective; the devil wants to convince you to see the world through his perspective so he can defeat you.”

SPIRIT MEAT DEVOTIONAL BY REV OLUSOLA AND REV OYENIKE AREOGUN
Saturday, 3rd October 2026

TOPIC: GOD IS LOOKING FOR SONS
Matthew 3:16–17; Philippians 2:5–11

Before Jesus healed the sick, raised the dead, walked on water or preached the great sermons recorded in Scripture, the Father had already found pleasure in Him as a Son. At His baptism, heaven opened and the Father declared, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17 is very important to our understanding of sonship because Jesus had not yet entered the public manifestation of His ministry. The pleasure of the Father was not first based on miracles; it was based on the Son He had become. For years in the house of Joseph and Mary, away from the applause of crowds, the spirit of sonship had been expressed in His life. God is not looking for angels on the earth. He is looking for sons: people whose hearts, attitudes and obedience give Him pleasure before their works ever attract public attention.

Jesus is therefore the ideal Son and the pattern for every believer. Philippians 2 shows us the spirit that operated in Him: He did not cling to reputation, He took upon Himself the form of a servant, humbled Himself and became obedient unto death. Sonship is not primarily about title; it is about nature. The greatest office Jesus occupies before the Father is that of Son, and nothing you become in ministry, business or public life will ever be greater than your relationship with God as His son or daughter. Your gift may impress men while your spirit displeases God. Your achievements may make people celebrate you while heaven is waiting for obedience. This is why God works first on the person before He entrusts greater manifestation to the person.

Settle this early in this devotional's journey: don't pursue usefulness to God at the expense of being pleasing to God. Many believers are in a hurry to do something great for God, but the Father is interested first in what is being formed inside them. Let Jesus be your pattern. Learn obedience when nobody is applauding. Serve faithfully when there is no platform. Receive instruction without protecting your reputation. Let God deal with the private attitudes that will become dangerous when public opportunities arrive. If the Father can be pleased with the son before the works begin, then the works that follow can safely glorify Him. Your first ambition should not be to become famous, powerful or even greatly used. Make it your ambition to become the kind of son or daughter about whom the Father can say, “I am well pleased.” Everything else should grow from there.

THOUGHT TO PONDER:
If all my visible achievements were removed, would the Father still find a life that gives Him pleasure? Am I more concerned about being used publicly than about becoming like Jesus privately?

PRAYER:
Father, make Jesus the true pattern of my life. Form in me His humility, obedience and servant heart, and let my greatest desire be to please You before seeking any public manifestation, in Jesus' name. Amen.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Jeremiah 1:1-2:30, Philippians 4:1-23, Psalm 75:1-10, Proverbs 24:17-20

READ THIS AND READ IT AGAIN!!!

Beloved,

Our true strength as God's people is our spirit that is made alive at the new birth.

The practices that grow and develop that reborn spirit are the secrets of true strength for a child of God.

- @ReverendAreogun

[Rev. Olusola Areogun @ReverendAreogun]

DISOBEDIENCE CAN PUT DESTINY OUT OF REACH.

Pastor Joshua Areogun said:

“When you disobey God, you put yourself in a position where your destiny becomes completely unreachable.”

That is why obedience is not a small matter.

Every divine instruction is connected to direction.

Every correction is connected to preservation.

Every warning is connected to protection.

Every step of obedience is connected to where God is taking you.

The Bible says:

“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” — Isaiah 1:19 KJV

And again:

“And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice...” — 1 Samuel 15:22 KJV

Do not treat disobedience casually.

Do not keep postponing what God has already told you to do.

Do not assume you can repeatedly ignore divine instructions and still arrive at the exact destination God designed.

Obedience keeps you aligned.

Obedience keeps you moving.

Obedience keeps you within the pathway of purpose.

DECLARE IT: I WILL NOT DISOBEY GOD AND FRUSTRATE HIS PURPOSE FOR MY LIFE. I RECEIVE GRACE TO OBEY FULLY, PROMPTLY, AND ACCURATELY. I WILL WALK IN DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS AND ARRIVE AT THE DESTINY GOD HAS PREPARED FOR ME.

If this speaks to you, declare:

I WILL OBEY GOD AND WALK INTO MY DESTINY.

[Rev. Olusola Areogun @ReverendAreogun]

YOUR OBEDIENCE TO GOD AFFECTS YOUR FINANCIAL LIFE.

Pastor Joshua Areogun said:

“Both your obedience and disobedience to God are factors that will directly affect your overall financial life.”

Finances are not only about earning more.

They are also about how you respond to God.

What has He told you to do?

What has He told you not to do?

What principles has He instructed you to honour?

What financial habits has He corrected?

What direction has He given concerning your work, giving, spending, saving, or stewardship?

The Bible says:

“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:” — Isaiah 1:19 KJV

And again:

“Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.” — Proverbs 3:9–10 KJV

Obedience matters.

Disobedience has consequences.

Sometimes a financial struggle is not merely about income. It may also require an honest examination of whether there are divine instructions that have been ignored.

DECLARE IT: I WILL OBEY GOD IN MY FINANCIAL LIFE. I WILL HONOUR HIS WORD, FOLLOW HIS INSTRUCTIONS, AND WALK IN WISDOM, DISCIPLINE, AND FAITHFUL STEWARDSHIP. MY FINANCES WILL COME UNDER GOD’S ORDER.

If this speaks to you, declare:

LORD, BRING MY FINANCIAL LIFE FULLY UNDER YOUR ORDER.
