‼️TRANS WOMEN NEED YOUR HELP‼️
Casa Florescer houses 30 trans women, keeping them off the streets. Brazil os the country that most kills trans women, it is ESSENTIAL that Casa Florescer stays open so they are housed and safe.

@Yuni_Yuniii23 i think it’s important to recognize whiteness as not simply a specific racial formation but a potentially universal social form/desire because anti-blackness qua chattel slavery form the material basis of global capitalism & modernity
@pterafractalx@stefisgirlnow thanks. and personally i have no issue with rudeness since this is the internet: im often quite abrasive. things always get muddled up and its easy to get mad at specific things, especially without context.
transmisogyny is a criminally underacknowledged vector of oppression but its impossible to talk about online without summoning a hundred he/himmlers and they k rowlings who just need to talk about how the term makes them feel bad
@burnthelilacs ok actually after talking to them they were receptive and we had a productive interaction which almost never happens. i know the bar is low but it was admirable.
@pterafractalx@stefisgirlnow ive just had to deal with the same pattern of behavior since i started transitioning and many trans women have too, so it helps to have shorthand terms which save time and energy. sadly, no phrase or way of calling out intracommunity issues will be perfect.
@pterafractalx@stefisgirlnow i understand that. i honestly have 0 issues with most nonbinary people and just really hate when some of them get really terfy with it. that plus character limits and the effort of having to type something so many times over is genuinely is why i rly like they k rowling. 1/2
@pterafractalx@stefisgirlnow when i say they k rowlings i mean ppl like this. it is a quick way to call out a pattern of behavior and if it doesn’t apply to you then just ignore it lmao
@ellienotnora@pterafractalx i mean i see people misuse the term all the time nowadays to be fair. its kinda like how most people dont know what transmedicalism is and will call people advocating for DIY transmedicalists.
@pterafractalx there are plenty of transmisogynistic nonbinary people who are giant terfs. this is easy to understand when you can see the driving force behind the entire terf movement (transmisogyny).
@pterafractalx i think they k rowling is better than theyfab/theymab since people just use the terms to misgender nonbinary ppl. imo, the og usage focused on calling out bioessentialist trans ppl but it wrapped around to just misgendering nonbinary people, and they k rowling doesnt ref agab
https://t.co/CbS4qbq5lD and the last two times i saw "transmisogyny" used in queer discussion was in defense of that misandrisr blue woman in April and gooseworx. If it's intercommunity discourse I by default now am going to treat it with less charitability than I probably should
dreaming of a world where i can walk two blocks and pick up after my dog without being on candid camera for some braindead idiot who needs a security camera to guard their 10 square feet of lawn in a city thats already overrun with surveillance tech
