For new followers, I post randomly about Napoleonic uniforms I find cool alongside their information and G&B stuff as of now. I also draw but don't expect all of them to be of the same quality :')
Please recheck any info I give out if you have any doubts.
Thanks!
@Huilong269114 Oh? I don't think it's a big problem... I think. It's just a showcase of artworks, I'm not too bothered by it (especially when I'm currently not active on this account). If they are claiming it's theirs then I am bothered. Are they? But thank you for telling me this.
@D_EA_D_IN_SI_DE Oh and by asking the GNB fellows, I mean you have to specifically go to the showcase channel, find the one called history class where people usually discuss about uniforms and then ask there, because you'll most likely be ignored if you ask in the general chat.
While the archived website doesn't allow me to copy the images right away (you get a funny pop up if you try to) you can turn off javascript in settings -> Privacy and Security -> scroll down and turn off Javascript. Which allows me to grab these wonderful images in high quality!
If you ever find yourself stuck on this kind of page when trying to find a uniform, do not fret, as https://t.co/M84LUH466V will have a working version (if someone archives the version that is! but so far the ones I've found not working have one on archive.)
@D_EA_D_IN_SI_DE That's right. If you need help on other uniforms feel free to ask! Though if it takes me too long to respond then I'm sure you could ask the fellows in the GNB server. I think they're way more knowledgeable in uniforms than I am.
@D_EA_D_IN_SI_DE Ah sorry I didn't see this earlier. Yes the uniform in-game is the parade uniform. You might have noticed paintings depicting them wearing a shako, but that is only after 1813.

@Tur50000 I'm sure it is a common design for guard regiments to have stars (orders) or the coat of arms in their designs! I still haven't figured out who started the trend, but it's great learning the patterns so you could guess what kind of regiment it was.
They do look neat! I do find the design of the helmets funny but that's about the same for any other helmets in the Napoleonic era if I just learnt about them.
@Tur50000 (why not! Hello new moot... 😁)
I really like the eagle one! May I interest you in this 1799 Russian cavalry guards helmet? The spikes give a goth vibe.
@Tur50000 Oh it's you! Thank you for showing me the uniform and I'd be happy to see the other uniforms.
For the uniform a day thing, thank you for the input. I think it would be just a quick sketch though since if I try to fully render them I'd be burnt out :')
I used to be a fan of 19th century uniforms because my library had a book about them. Also I'm fine with non-napoleonic uniforms! I've been looking into other eras of uniforms lately. I wish to have an account for all kinds of historical uniforms one day.
Though showcasing uniforms isn't really much, eh? Perhaps sometime in the future I'll go back to my idea of drawing one uniform a day. (Which only lasted two days before I began posting stuff about G&B!)

another example of my "lazy coloring style" I'd like to call it. Very quick as it doesn't need me to spend hours on coloring. 40 minutes or so and I'm pretty much done with it. If you like it then I can start posting more here.
