I am spending bits of my morning sampling the new @MercedesBenz_SA AMG A45 S, A35 models around the track.

We're at the local launch of the new @MercedesBenz_SA AMG A35 and A45 S models.

The A35 packs a 2.0-litre turbopetrol engine with 225kW/400Nm.

While the A45 S lurks a 2.0-litre turbopetrol engine with 310kW of power and 500 Nm of torque.

We are spending time with the beautiful @Lexus_SA UX250h EX model.

It carries a starting price tag of 690k & comes with a 2.0-litre petrol engine, a hybrid system and ECVT transmission. Total power output is 135kW/180Nm.

The new @ToyotaSA Corolla sedan in the XR guise worn by my test unit shows how serious the marque is about sedans.

It's stunning, sportier, more entertaining to drive and offers a very refined drive.

We're spending time with the superb @Suzuki_ZA Baleno in GLX guise.

It lurks a n/a 1.4 engine with 68kW and 130 Nm of torque. From Tshwane to Hazyview, it offered a well-sorted ride and one could live with it on a daily basis.

Especially if power delivery is linear, torque requests will be low looking at the block size & torque/power numbers.. The interior is boss also.. I can’t wait personally to see it shake the tables
