@soupdragon2000 Hi Matt. We have completely changed the layout of the museum, as well as our focus. It used to be mostly just artifacts, but we have gone to more of a thematic storytelling approach. We also created a heritage garden, and we do lots of programming, too.
#AskACurator Do you have any UFO stories? 3 - from 1908, 1950 and 1968 newspapers. They all describe a bright light swinging slowly in the sky. In two accounts, the light was a pale blue. In 1968, it hovered over someone's car. #UFO
It's #AskACurator day! How do you get started in your job? Short version - I fell into it because of an interest in local history, and connections! I took available courses, attended conferences, and learned all I could - 38 years later, I am still here!
