I feel I need to put an end to this absurd take that too many have latched onto.

It may be a fun “whatabout”, but it’s completely irrelevant based on the rules.

The only relevant factor is the clock was at :01 when the ball hit the ground.

Had the clock not started at all creating a significant clock error, replay could use time elapsed, but that didn’t happen.

And to assume anyone other than Daktronics’ engineers understands exactly how the clock functions internally is foolish.

For example, the vast majority of stadium clocks in both college and NFL incorrectly count off the 1st second after a clock reset in about 1/3 second rather than taking a full second (ex, at the beginning of a quarter or after a 10-second runoff).

This video is currently all over social media. Many are expressing sorrow for this woman and sadness at her outrage. My take on it is different. The look you see on her face is not outrage…it’s realisation. It is the look of a white, liberal lefty woman suddenly realising that her entire worldview is/was totally wrong. That what she had spent her life arrogantly portraying as her higher morality and understanding was in fact “suicidal empathy” as described by @GadSaad and that empathy was going to destroy her entire society.

What we know:
1. She's a member of the French left-wing party and an activist, one of the biggest advocates for opening up migration to North African peoples.

2. She owns a small chic boutique in an upscale spot, she stood in her shop trying to save it from looting and theft telling them that she's a famous activist.

3. She told them I'm so-and-so, the activist for asylum, I'm with you, I've defended you and your entry and stay in France, they spat on her, knocked her down, and trampled her with their feet, good thing she's still alive.

4. And they looted the whole shop, losing all the struggle and work of her lifetime in a moment. Standing there stunned, not believing that these thieving, rabble-rousing, criminal, barbaric hordes are the ones she's spent her whole life defending, and advocating for them to invade her country and destroy it
