@theweeflea There was a referendum in Los Angeles for adding a "None of the above" voting option.
The logic was to make it imperative that politicians address voters' concerns or else be relegated to a loss to 'no one' until truly representative democracy was achieved. (It did not pass)
@CherylWroteIt "...The world desperately needs a true leader."
Warning! There are lots of true things are coming about...
(Rev. 13:7 NKJ) "...authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation."
The appreciation of his colleagues (across successive administrations) is a testimony to the lasting contribution of Jason Leitch. Our prayers are with him as he continues to make a difference in people's lives.
Wishing @jasonleitch all the very best for the future. I always valued the advice and support he gave me, first as Health Secretary and then FM - not least during Covid when he was a key part of the @scotgov team and a reassuring presence for many across the country. His contribution to government will be missed.
@BethMooreLPM Your study materials helped me see God more clearly and view women differently. (I am fortunate that my wife always left them lying around the house) Thank you for your service of Jesus Christ.
Thanks, @paulwasher, for the consistent exposition of the scriptures. I am grateful for the tone and insight of a mature pastor. Your life and trials have grown a steady and steadfast witness to Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit as we make disciples who will make disciples
@PeterStefanovi2 I read somewhere that in ancient times, the rent of all of Africa paid only a percentage of the entitlements of the citizens of Rome. Labour shortages and welfare reform reflect the desire of those who own the UK, to get the locals slaving for their low wages.
