On Tuesday, the people of Nanyuki, Laikipia and Kenya at large will proceed on a peaceful March to protest the existence of this Ebola containment facility in Nanyuki.
Requesting that Kenyans across the country will also join in solidarity ✊🏾
In other News, we have a press briefing in Nanyuki tomorrow to remind Duale that, indeed, sovereign power belongs to the people, and if any power held constitutionally is held in trust.
We shall not have an Ebola facility in our town!
I serve as co-chair in David Maraga's political committee, where Shakira served (quite well actually) as the secretary until November last year when she resigned.
I'll do a thread to explain my experience of what transpired.

About 75,000 people in Kenya need corneal transplants but approximately 400 transplants are done a year.
While Kenya has an eye bank and corneal transplantation services, there is a significant shortage of locally donated corneas. Most of these corneas are donated for free from the USA and India but it ends up costing the patients 400-600k to get a transplant due to overhead costs.
Education and advocacy around corneal transplants would prevent blindness in patients as well as generate employment and income down the value chain. @MOH_Kenya@fnoluga@HonAdenDuale
