Hey man, me and the guys weren't sure how to say this, but you just haven't been the same since you started those anti-psychotics. You used to be fun, and cool, and spontaneous. Now? You've lost your spark, dude. They stole your spark. And we all noticed, and like you a lot less.
somebody who has never been to the great tropical rainforests (deep amazon, congo, papua new guinea) can't really fathom how nearly impossible it is to build any civilization in that type of ecology
Every nation wants to tell their own military history like they're an ELITE fighting a HORDE.
Like how German generals on the Eastern Front compared themselves to Spartans at Thermopylae.
It's a natural impulse.
No nation wants to loudly proclaim "We outnumbered the enemy 100 to 1 and still lost."
But some nations really do have stories like this!
One example is Castelnuovo 1539.
The Spanish, as part of the Holy League, were trying to retake the Eastern Mediterranean from the Ottoman Turks.
They secured the fortress of Castelnuovo in Montenegro.
A Spanish garrison of about 3000 men was left there but the fleet was unable to resupply them.
The Ottomans attacked them with 200,000 men.
Near continuous fighting for a month.
The Spanish decided to fight to the death.
They didn't just sit in the fortress either. They were doing night raids - encamisados - to kill Turks in their sleep and keep them on edge.
Eventually the ammunition ran out and they were fighting with just their swords and pikes.
About 100 men were taken prisoner, probably sent to the slave markets in Constantinople. The rest died in battle.
The Ottomans lost somewhere between 8,000 and 30,000 men. Huge losses to take this relatively minor fortress in Montenegro!
Castelnuovo became famous throughout Europe and further cemented the reputation of Spanish soldiers as some of the best in the world.
It was basically the Spanish Thermopylae.

Full-blown communist candidates are winning Dem primaries across the nation and “project liberal” is attempting to tell you that the left hasn’t moved on their policy since 1980
Neoconservatism is truly the most vindicated ideology of all time. Everyone agrees with their thesis, the only question is about which ends we should enforce.
@pizzaghostcats Networking and people liking me just comes naturally, transfers into professional environments well, I'll make sure my kids social circle is composed of kids from good families with good morals.
"it's gonna be a heckin epic protest vote and they'll see that we want further right policies!"
No you infantile fat fuckin dysgenic retard. That's not how any of this works whatsoever.
They will see that the more liberal views won and try to model that. That's how we got here.
The Biden DOJ let a million rowdy guatamexicans wreak havoc on my town and actively went after me with federal agencies.
The faggot ass retard rightist who say vote for the DNC as a "protest" are sniveling man child cowards who will never do anything that matters.
@pizzaghostcats If it was an option I'd let my family arrange one for me, but I'm the man of the family and they're all dependent on me so it's kinda hopeless. I will try and do that for my children one day though.

@pizzaghostcats I need a woman with the same sort of ambition and good genetics as me because I want to put my children into a position of power or all the assets I build are pointless when I'm gone basically.
@pizzaghostcats You'd need a completely unique idea on how to present a real concept through a fictional lens, what Tolkien did was revolutionary, what George R.R. Martin did was daring, but everyone just tries to copy them and falls flat.
We need a modern fantasy setting that incorporates Christian theology in the substance rather than explicitly in the text, like Tolkien for the modern era. Also less descriptions of food and walking.
@pizzaghostcats Absolutely. I take a very practical and eugenic approach to dating, some people just want stability, some just love, some are look for something in their field. It all just depends.
