🔥 ASTRAEA ORATIO, FIRST LOOK AT LIVE GAMEPLAY

We finally have a proper look at how Astraea Oratio actually plays instead of trying to judge it from short clips.

The TGS build shows:

✅ 3 character party
✅ Enemy intent preview
✅ AP based skill system
✅ Character switching
✅ Break mechanics
✅ Counter Skills with timing inputs
✅ Territory Declaration
✅ Boss fights with much more reactive combat than a normal turn based RPG

The interesting part is how different outlets have described the combat.

Some Japanese hands ons call it turn based with real time reactive elements, while Inven describes it closer to real time action.

Watching the gameplay makes it clearer, decisions are structured around turns and AP, but enemies stay active and a lot of the combat depends on reacting, switching and timing your counters.

The game is currently planned for Android + iOS first, with PC coming later.

Around 30 playable characters are planned for launch, worldwide release is the target, and a CBT announcement is coming.

WuWa 3.5 Möbius Strip Analysis

Yangyang's Phantom, the mysterious figure, explains the state of the world of Solaris from the perspective of an Observer who has witnessed the world's birth and destruction repeat endlessly within a Möbius Loop. She isn't merely warning Yangyang about the coming catastrophe, she reveals that the world they inhabit has long been trapped in a cycle that always leads to the same ending.

Yangyang herself is portrayed as someone who has yet to grasp the true scale of the conflict. When she questions the Phantom, the mysterious figure replies that it is better not to know the truth than to bear its burden. She even offers Yangyang the chance to stop moving forward and leave everything to Rover. This doesn't mean Yangyang is considered incapable, rather, stepping into the heart of these events means accepting that learning the truth about the world is itself an immense burden she must carry.

Within the context of the Möbius Loop, the world doesn't just progress linearly from past to future, it travels along a path that ultimately returns to its point of origin. Like someone walking along the surface of a Möbius strip, they believe they are continually moving forward, yet without realizing it, they eventually return to where they started without ever leaving the path.

Solaris functions in much the same way. Every time the world's catastrophe reaches its climax, reality begins the cycle anew. However, traces of previous iterations are not completely erased. Fragments of information remain behind as echoes, intuition, or an inexplicable sense of déjà vu. This is why Yangyang doesn't consciously remember the previous cycles, yet her soul still seems to recognize the Voice. The people may change, and small details may differ, but the final outcome always remains the same.

A Möbius strip will continue looping forever unless an external force cuts through it. Rover is described as the first variable within the Chaos System, meaning he is an anomaly that exists outside the chain of cause and effect governing the Möbius Loop.

What the Phantom is really saying is that the world's system operates on fixed values, but those values change the moment an anomaly enters the system, much like a virus rewriting a program's code. In a computer system, mathematics, or even the laws of physics, a determined chain of cause and effect for every element functions like a constant (π) and is destined to produce the same outcome every time.

So it's something like this, Yangyang, the world's destruction, and the cycle of time itself are all constants. They continue revolving along the same Möbius strip, repeating the same actions and arriving at the same failure in every iteration.

Rover, on the other hand, is the variable value (x) introduced into the world's equation. Because he is a variable, neither his actions nor his choices can be defined or predicted by the system. This is why Rover is often described as the Void or Emptiness. Whenever Lucilla or Iuno uses their Fortes to read Rover's memories or foresee his future, the result is always the same, nothing and cannot be calculated.

By introducing a new variable into what was previously a completely deterministic system, Rover changes far more than a single event. The entire structure of the future is rewritten, to the point where even the Phantom can no longer foresee how the world will ultimately end.

The meeting between Rover and Yangyang is described as a miracle that occurred only once in billions of iterations. To break the perfect loop of a Möbius strip, the anomaly had to occur precisely at the strip's point of twist and at an exact moment in time. Had it deviated by even the slightest margin, the cycle would have locked itself once again and returned to the same fixed ending.

Their meeting officially shattered the certainty of that doomed ending and gave the world its first genuine chance to avoid a tragic fate. However, such a change inevitably comes at a tremendous cost. Every alteration to fate brings consequences, whether good or bad.

Those consequences may take the form of sacrifice, either from Yangyang/Rover themselves or from those around them. Or perhaps for the first time the world may finally escape its endless night of destruction and welcome its "next dawn", where a new hope is born from the light carried by both Rover and Yangyang.
