For those of you who love blues rock and the magnificent Rory Gallagher, RIP, here is his Tele, which he used tele for slide. Here it is on display at Reading Museum as part of their 50 years of Reading Festival exhibition which opens on Thursday.

I had the pleasure to meet Rory’s nephew, who hand delivered it (and the AC30), who now manages his legacy. The black and white contact strip is from the first, 1971, Reading Festival, showing Rory playing the Tele.
