@fayedsouza Rules are structured so that if you take loss avoidance steps (eg. rebooking to catch a connecting flight) then you are denied compensation/refund. @airvistara exploited this to retain customers, with customer care agents lying about actual flight status till the last moment.

@fayedsouza Dear Faye, the internal mismanagement on the part of #Vistara is one story. The public interest story however is how inadequate DGCA norms are to protect customers, especially on loss/damages caused, and how airlines exploit this to pass loss on to their customers. @airvistara

#Vistara flight UK-849 Bengaluru-Mumbai scheduled for 17:30 on 1 April gets cancelled. I'm reassigned to UK 857 scheduled for 21:30. And then it is delayed 2 more times, to 01:10 on 2nd April, and finally at 04:16 it is cancelled! Greed, mismanagement and lies from this airline.

India’s doing well on some measures, eg. the rise in GST collection & poorly on some, eg. the high youth employment. As soon as this is pointed out, trolls go shrill. This lack of self-confidence & failure to accept data is doing damage to India, once known for professionalism.
