@airvistara Wrt your Bengaluru-Mumbai flight (Booking ID NF2BXGZ00XORP7Y67797), we regret to inform you that your request for full refund has been denied by the airline, due to the reason: Full refund is not applicable as the flight was operational and the PNR status is a 'No-Show'.
@airvistara what are you doing for your customers who have faced delays, other than more hollow words? Not even drinking water provided for stranded passengers on UK857... What recourse?
@fayedsouza Rules are structured so that if you take loss avoidance steps (eg. rebooking to catch a connecting flight) then you are denied compensation/refund. @airvistara exploited this to retain customers, with customer care agents lying about actual flight status till the last moment.
@fayedsouza Dear Faye, the internal mismanagement on the part of #Vistara is one story. The public interest story however is how inadequate DGCA norms are to protect customers, especially on loss/damages caused, and how airlines exploit this to pass loss on to their customers. @airvistara
#Vistara flight UK-849 Bengaluru-Mumbai scheduled for 17:30 on 1 April gets cancelled. I'm reassigned to UK 857 scheduled for 21:30. And then it is delayed 2 more times, to 01:10 on 2nd April, and finally at 04:16 it is cancelled! Greed, mismanagement and lies from this airline.

Who "assassinated" Tippu? History is often fair game for politicians. So in the spirit of reciprocity - politicians should focus on governance and leave the history aside to those doing the ground work! Thanks @AKanisetti and @htTweets for the nudge on this piece.

India's big worry in 1 graph, Youth unemployment: From 21.2% (2014) to 28.3% (2021). It suggests, while India's GDP is growing, the average household may be worse off. The good work by RBI in managing exchange rate won't help if this is not corrected.

India’s doing well on some measures, eg. the rise in GST collection & poorly on some, eg. the high youth employment. As soon as this is pointed out, trolls go shrill. This lack of self-confidence & failure to accept data is doing damage to India, once known for professionalism.
