~. A prayer for the 3:00 pm Hour of Remembrance and Prayer today. “God of Peace and Mercy, at this afternoon hour, we lift up the souls who perished on September 11, 2001 and others who succumbed to illnesses from 9-11. Welcome them into Your kingdom, and comfort the families and friends who still mourn. Amen”~

~ Your mother certainly raised an honorable man Joe. . She looks so beautiful and especially in the bluebonnets . I was my mother’s caregiver for 14 years after her stroke. She passed away on Dec 22 2018. The years with her were and always will be the most emotional and beautiful memories. The gift of our mother’s love never leaves us. For deep within our hearts, we feel their presence, but the longing to simply see them again is so hard at times. I will say, that your brightness obviously comes from her . God Bless. ~

There is so much grief, suffering, and desperation in Venezuela after two devastating earthquakes last week. Hear from one of our @SamaritansPurse team members at our Emergency Field Hospital and from survivors…

~ Big Boy No. 4014 - the world's largest operating steam locomotive. What an awesome moment ! So happy that so many people have been able to see it in person at the whistle stops ~

[Union Pacific @UnionPacific]

🚂🚂 Two Big Boys. One historic moment.

Big Boy No. 4014 made a rare stop in Scranton, Pennsylvania, joining @steamtownnhs's No. 4012 — the first time two Big Boys have stood together since the early 1960s. Tens of thousands came out to see it.

Now through June 30, both steam locomotives remain on display as #UP4014 undergoes routine maintenance. The journey continues, honoring America’s 250th, with our commemorative Silver Spike in tow as #BigBoyHeadsEast.
