#Telangana- Power of protests.For over 7 days thousands of students at #iiitbasara have been protesting demanding basic infrastructure at campus, a full time VC.Cops brought in, Min assured action- they didn’t budge. Finally, they called off the protest today (Cont) @sgc_rguktb

The protest was called off after Education Minister @SabithaindraTRS visited campus, assured ALL their demands will be fulfilled. Students tell me there are issues with wifi,toilet doors do not have latches,unhygienic. Issues were raised with Collector earlier, but no response.

Students of the #IIITBasara called off their week-long protest after state Education Minister P Sabita Indra Reddy met them and assured them that all issues that students raised will be resolved.
