At GTC Berlin this week? Come find us at STATION-Berlin, we’re easy to spot.
Not in Berlin? Roles are live: https://t.co/zJXUsurUEq Follow along, there’s more coming from Berlin over the next two days.
100+ sessions covering the full AI stack: CUDA, accelerated computing, agentic AI, robotics, open models, physical AI. Jensen Huang’s keynote is tomorrow at the Tempodrom.
@Dell@mamazurPL Which is why we’re hiring 200 people. Engineers, platform specialists, infrastructure folks. Real challenges, real solutions, built by real experts in their field.
@Dell@mamazurPL The power side is what catches most people out. Availability, not silicon, is the real constraint on how fast AI ambition turns into capability.
Our RHAELM Technology Team is "Ready" to build sovereign AI infrastructure at gigawatt scale: power, platform and operational control, delivered in-country. Join us on this truly engineering journey at: https://t.co/zJXUsurUEq
Dell Technologies, JERA and RHAELM have signed an MOU to advance national-scale AI infrastructure development in Japan.
By bringing together energy, infrastructure and technology expertise, the collaboration will help accelerate AI computing capacity and support Japan's growing AI economy. https://t.co/iHcuEzHIjh
In Japan we're putting the AI factory next to the power plant.
JERA + RHAELM + @Dell + @apolloglobal: 400MW in Chiba, first phase online in 2028.
It will be the largest single-site AI deployment in Asia outside China.
Multi-gigawatt across Japan next. 🇯🇵

JAPAN 🇯🇵 PLANS $140B AI DATA CENTER PUSH WITH DELL & JERA
Japan is planning a major AI infrastructure buildout aimed at becoming the largest AI compute hub outside the U.S. and China, according to the FT.
Dell, Jera and Rhaelm have agreed to develop a $15B, 400 MW AI data center near Tokyo, financed by Apollo and expected to begin operations around 2028.
Jera says the group is targeting 3 to 4 GW of AI data center and gas-power infrastructure over the next five years.
At an estimated $35B to $45B per GW, that implies roughly $140B of total investment.
The first Chiba project will not connect to the grid, with dedicated gas-fired generation built alongside the data center to speed up power availability.
For context, current data center power consumption is roughly:
U.S.: 29.2 GW
China: 8.5 GW
Japan: 1.7 GW
Japan is separately targeting about $206B of public-private investment in cloud and data center infrastructure by 2035.
