@kyhighs @NateInSports So we’re going to make small schools play in the same tournament as the big schools, but when we get to the state tournament, we need to create balance and equal opportunity to advance?!? I’m well aware I’m in the minority, but give us classes like 49 other states.

Beechwood wins at NCC, 58-55. Sophomore Dylan Topmiller (32pts) hits 8 three pointers, tying Louie Brockhoeft (in 1988) for second in school history, and just one behind Tyler Fangman (2011). Kingston Brockett finished with 13pts, Knasel 7pts, Yeager 4pts, and Stiles 2pts.

The Beechwood Tigers are 8-0 to start the season for the first time in our programs 94 year history. The Tigers defeat Walton Verona 64-63 on a Ryan Smith buzzer beater. Soph Dylan Topmiller leads with 29pts and JR Cole Coppage with 13pts and one incredible game winning assist!!

Beechwood Try Out Dates/Times for Middle School Boys Basketball:

8th grade: workouts continue until football playoffs end (likely 27th, 28th, 29th)

7th grade: Oct 15th 3:15-5pm, Oct 16th 3-4:15pm, Oct 18th 11-1pm

6th grade: Oct 15th 5-6:45pm, Oct 16th 5-6:45pm, Oct 18th 2-4pm

Yesterday, these 6 guys each volunteered 2 hours of work at the Gurdian Angel School as they help prepare for the upcoming school year. Even more impressive, they did so after 2 1/2 hours of weights/skill work/open gym.

Great job Thomas, Tanner, Owen, Dylan, Ryan, and Bennett!
