So after 6 years, DNA test results have finally confirmed that an unidentified body deposited at an Ikorodu mortuäry belongs to Pelumi Onifade. He was one of the reporters covering the #EndSARS protests.
Later in October 24, 2020, Pelumi was arrested and taken away by police officers in Agege despite explaining that he was a reporter. He was also wearing a jacket identifying him as a member of the press.
Days later, an unidentified body was discovered at a môrtuary in Ikorodu, Lagos, and it was speculated that the body belonged to Pelumi Onifade.
Finally it has been confirmed...
A government that kills her own citizens!!!
You did your house job in FMC in 2015, let's assume your pay was 150k then, and rate was around 150-182 naira to a dollar, meaning you were earning $820-$1000 per month, and nobody held your salary for months or even delayed it.
But because you are freshly baked neurosurgeon and have even left the country your younger colleagues who are being paid $223 per month and are still being owned for 7 months or receiving late payment should quit medicine rather than being lazy on their jobs with empty stomach because they want to be doctors who prioritise their own welfare first.
If things were so sweet for you why did you leave the country?
I think there is this pill they give to residents to always look down on their younger colleagues and medical officers cos you are already saying that the medical officers who taught you during House job are lacking in knowledge because they refused to pursue residency.
Lol and just lol.
Being happily married, with an active sex life is very necessary for surviving residency….
As they are shouting on your head for one thing or the other, you go just zone out they remember the kin position when dem bend you the night before….
The first hospital I worked in Lagos tried something like this.
The foolish MD called a meeting one time and started trying to gaslight everyone that he should have increased salary but that he took an hefty loan 3 years ago to erect the second structure of the complex.
He claimed he is still paying back the loan and is barely making any profits.
All the staffs clapped for him and claimed the understood.
I did not clap anything.
He is a stupid scammer.
This is an hospital that sees over 120 patients in OPD in a day and charges 400k for herniorrhaphy and 600k for CS.
I left the useless hospital after just one month.
This is how we check World Cup fixtures when there was no access to internet, gone are those days at Ojota, like it’s was so interesting, they will sell to us then unfolded in other to make it easy to access, we will fold it and begin to write score after each match.
Childhood 🙌🏼
Arsenal winning the league was actually a mental health intervention.
Banter doesn’t hit the same anymore.
I just laugh and scroll on 🤣
Thank you, Mikel Arteta ❤️
Life is interesting!! Lol in whatever you do, try and win by any legal/permissible means. Arteta has been saying that @Arsenal has accumulated the highest number of points in the EPL in the last 3-4 years and people asked him where is his trophy to show for that? Now he has a trophy to show and you are concerned about the playing style. Rie nsi respectfully!!
Odumodu's baby picture.
You go just know say na him be the ghost wey dey disappear other people biro.
Once dem ring bell for assembly, na their type dey always hide inside class dey use spoon siphon other people cooler.
See head like trust wallet logo.
That doctor you’re vexing for is fighting the Nigerian system to keep you alive.
He is having to improvise and make decisions with just the information that you’ve given him because if he asks you to do the right tests, they are not available and it might delay your treatment.
He’s the breadwinner of his family but his salary cannot buy him bread.
From his little stipend, he has contributed for multiple patients and in emergency situations he has used his name to collect medications from the pharmacy that will be deducted from his salary.
If he falls sick, he cannot afford care in the hospital that he works in.
You call him proud but he is actually frustrated and tired.
What Arsenal did different this time that many overlook…
My wife asked me what Arsenal did differently this time around despite missing out on being champions especially in the last 3 seasons…
I told her the major difference in the Arsenal team was that we suddenly had an influx of players who love Jesus, pray & fellowship together.
They never went into any game with doubts in their hearts but faith in God that He can help them come out victorious. Even when they lose games, they are still strong in faith.
Especially when Man City took over towards the end of the season, it all looked bleak but the players had an unshakeable Faith & almost immediately it turned around again.
For the first time, we have players who publicly declare Jesus as Lord and post Bible scriptures — depending on God for His help.
This was a big plus & a major factor that cannot be overlooked.
Remind a hater today:
City and Arsenal game week 33;
Deadlocked on 70 points each.
Five games to go.
Everyone (including some Arsenal "fans") said it was done, and that ManCity would go ahead and collect all 15 points available, with a superior GD, and win the title.
5 match days later,
Man City; WDWDL
78 points.
+42 GD.
2nd place.
Arsenal; WWWWW
85 points.
+44 GD.
EPL Champions.
The Arsenal they knew before is not the Arsenal we are today.

🚨 BREAKING: 8 MONTHS. 0 KOBO. THE SYSTEM IS STARVING OUR MILITARY DOCTORS. 🇳🇬
We have just received a devastating update that should outrage every well-meaning Nigerian. The institutional abuse of House Officers in our military facilities has officially crossed a breaking point.
Two months ago, on March 24, we cried out on this page about house officers working for over half a year without pay. Today, the nightmare has worsened. We have just been informed that doctors who reached out to us months ago are now in their 8th month of internship, and they have still not received even a single month's salary.
Let this sink in. These military hospitals do not just cater to soldiers. They serve the general public, treating everyday Nigerian citizens alongside our troops and their families. They are heavily utilized federal facilities handling massive civilian patient loads.
Yet, the young doctors keeping these hospitals running are being treated with absolute disdain. Imagine being in your 8th month of medical internship, managing life-and-death emergencies for the public and the military alike, without receiving a single kobo in wages.
Right now in these facilities:
• House Officers are treating citizens and troops on empty stomachs.
• Interns cannot even afford daily transport fares to get to work.
• Young doctors are left completely stranded by the government.
These interns have bills, rent, and families to maintain. They are being forced to hold the line for Nigeria's health and defense sectors while the system deliberately suffocates them. If a doctor collapses from starvation on duty, who saves the patient?
Silence is no longer an option.
We are calling on the relevant authorities: How do you expect a human being to survive for 8 months on zero salary? Why are the young doctors defending our public and military health sector being left to starve while working around the clock?
We demand immediate payment for all Military House Officers across Nigeria. Stop starving the medics saving lives. 🩺✊
If you are a House Officer facing this same situation in any military facility, slide into our DM. Your identity will remain completely anonymous. We will amplify your voice safely. Let’s build the pressure. 📥💬
