I’ve never been ashamed of my humble beginnings, and I never will be.
Tyler Perry is one of my role models and I learnt a lot from watching his films, especially when it came to storytelling and writing. There is absolutely nothing wrong with learning from someone you admire. In fact, that’s how many great journeys begin.
Over the years, I broadened my knowledge, attended workshops, sharpened my craft through experience, and found my own voice. And I’m still learning because growth never stops.
Today, many upcoming filmmakers say they’ve learnt from my work, and I’m truly grateful for that. That’s how creativity is passed on. We learn, we growand we inspire others.
Never be ashamed of where you started. Keep learning. Keep growing.👍

From 100L to 300L, I honestly hated Law.
I barely paid attention to it. I’d rather be at the radio station hosting shows, at drama rehearsals, or doing anything that wasn’t reading law.
It reflected in my results too. I wasn’t failing, but I definitely wasn’t excelling either. I was your typical C student.
Then 2020 happened.
Lockdown left me with little choice but to intern at a law firm, and that experience completely changed my perspective. For the first time, I saw the real opportunities the profession had to offer.
When I got back to school, everything changed.
I changed my circle, my routine, my priorities, and started reading at least 10 hours a day.
Suddenly, the A’s started coming. My lowest grades became Bs.
The only problem was that I had started too late to build the kind of CGPA I wanted.
I took that same discipline to Law School, and it paid off massively.
More than anything, I made my parents proud.
The biggest lesson I learnt is that your decision can completely change your trajectory.
You can excel at almost anything you commit yourself to, but only after you’ve truly decided.
That said, if you can, start early.
Consistency compounds. You can still succeed after a late start, but it’s always an advantage to begin building mileage as early as possible.
The First Lady advised you people to sell corn and akara.
MIND YOU, In a functional country random roadside food would be illegal bc of health concerns.
We are finished.
I refuse to accept that Samuel Banks content is part of the Olodo Uprising. That guy is not an Olodo. Do you know what it takes to come up with different characters with different scenarios and behaviours and still make it entertaining?
