@KatiePMcGrady I am so sorry that you have to say goodbye. We had to say farewell to our beloved pet last fall. She enjoyed a grilled cheese and a ridiculous amount of cuddles in our backyard with our family before we went to the appointment. I cherish those moments. Enjoy the day. 🫂
@integritycdn Yes, it’s true separation anxiety, and the first puppy we have ever had with it. So, we are learning a lot. Celebrating small steps. Hoping your pup has a repeat performance today!
@integritycdn We have been doing Susan Garret’s Crate Games. It’s helping. But, we haven’t figured out the magic formula yet. We are struggling because our senior poodle suddenly went blind, so we really need our little one to get on board with the crate for everyone’s safety.
@servicerotties Rosie, who is 6 months old, entered “brain fried” mode when a person on roller blades came up from behind without warning. No chill. Full chaos.
@servicerotties This is impressive training! We were walking near some very loud traffic, with loud trucks, and I wasn’t sure how to help with the obvious overwhelm near the intersection. This is a brilliant confidence builder. I really appreciate your sharing of your training!
@servicerotties Exhausting, a little frustrating and wonderful. Exactly this. But, we all knew what we were signing up for…though I don’t think we thought through the reality of getting a puppy at the start of winter! 😂
Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s so relatable and makes me smile.
