Game day! (more like half-a-game-day ๐)
First game: Castell, one of the games I have already shortlisted for my collection.
This game is an adaptation of Catalonia's tradition of building human towers during festivals. Castell = castle.
I made palitaw. As someone who doesn't know her way around the kitchen, I made palitaw! Simple recipe but it still came out in all shapes and sizes. Lol. ๐คช
Happy weekend!

But the theme is not this game's strongest suit (if anything, it is next to non-existent in the gameplay ๐). It's the good brain burn you get from squeezing the best score out of your good-bad beer ingredient ration.
This one is Village, a worker placement game published in 2011. If the gaming mechanism "cube pulling" hasn't been coined yet, I'd coin it for this game. ๐ #boardgamegeek#tabletopgames#tabletopgaming
(I'm not that kuripot and "user friendly", but I set an annual board game acquisition allowance for myself and I've already burned through most of it earlier this year.")
Learned a couple of new games these past few weeks. Thanks to fellow tabletoppers, we get to experience new-to-us games without having to constantly buy new ones. LOL.

Another successful game night at home. And by successful, I mean: (1) we got to play a game at a different player count--#ArchitectsoftheWestKingdom, (2) we got to play a new game, twice--#GoldWest, and (3) we got to play an old game that we last played 10 monthe ago--#Concordia.
