The next JAMES BOND has been PUT ON HOLD. Producer Barbara Broccoli and Amazon/MGM are in the middle of a feud when it comes to the creative direction.
Amazon/MGM wants "Marvel-Style" spinoffs. Broccoli has called them "f*cking idiots" (via @WSJ)

if you watch movies on 2x speed i’d personally consider another hobby because that’s clearly not yours and i’d like everyone to stop making excuses it is never okay to watch movies on 2x speed
I love how if you told a normal person you’d already seen 83 films this year they’d look at you like you’re absolutely insane but on filmtwt you’re a fake cinephile
Like think about how sweaty and real all of your favorite movies from the '70s looked, that's cinema! I just watched Friedkin's Sorcerer, and sure some of it is in a rainy jungle, but everyone still looks like they're drowning in sweat in every scene. It adds immersion.
Exactly how I feel about almost every movie I've seen post-2017 or so. Obviously there are exceptions, Old Henry is a recent western that comes to mind where everyone looks as grimy and disgusting as the time/place certainly required. But yeah, all of this⬇️
can't quite put my finger on it but a lot of movies just look way too clean and glossy now. every actor looks like they were just on the make-up chair, every prop and location looks like no ones ever used it before. everything looks too perfect. maybe i'm just going insane idk
This, almost word-for-word, is also my story. Only I started even later than 4 am and still got the good feedback I needed to really cement this as a lifetime habit.
Danny McBride "can't stand" movie theaters that serve dinner during screenings.
“I hate it. I also don’t think it makes sense to combine booze with movies. You’re going to have to piss. Doesn’t alcohol make you want to get up and get loose? You don’t want to sit there, drink beer, and just be quiet. I would have no interest in going to see a movie and just pounding IPAs. Just f*cking falling asleep.”

the 4K stream of ROAD HOUSE on Amazon is a 13 gig file. that is approximately 1/7th the size of a 4K UHD disc. do not trust streaming, do not use streaming, do not support streaming
@dennisbhooper Haven't seen The Menu, but "unearned self regard" is the perfect distillation of my reaction to Don't Look Up. What I tried to say in a couple of paragraphs at the time can be summed up by that one phrase.
What an unexpected offering from @ArrowFilmsVideo, but very welcome. The best performance Ray Liotta ever gave and you can quote me on that, he’s on fire in this.
