In class 11 and 12, I too went for IIT coaching. But after actual school. Science education has not just theory but practicals also.

Plus, the IITs and engineering/medical colleges assume you have studied other subjects like languages, and up to class 10, arts subjects like history, geography etc. Plus some extra curriculars. A school education is a certificate that a student has done all of this - an indicator of well rounded education.

Dummy school students are cheats because they skip all this and do only JEE/NEET style entrance exam stuff. They could appear for open school exams, but do CBSE because they know that open school certificates may be less valuable later.

A dummy school student is a fraud. There is no other way to put it. They claim to have studied stuff they actually have not. Even in science, they have never been to a lab - a foundation for future engineering and medical training. See the reddit screenshot below.

Producing dummy school certificates is claiming you have studied things you have not. I have seen students without basic knowledge of our country's history, geography, constitution, etc. This is what breeds bigotry and ignorance.

Paper leaks are fraud. Wrong grading of exams is fraud. But dummy schools are also fraud. I dont care how good your coaching institute prepare you for IITJEE. You are part of the same fraudulent ecosystem.

Every dummy school student fraudulently gaining an edge over, and denying a genuine and honest school student a STEM college seat. Dummy school students are just illegal immigrants in the IIT/NIT/medical ecosystem.

I am sorry if this is you. But this is the harsh truth.

I have visited Shanghai, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Macau and Kuala Lumpur.

Each of these cities is leagues ahead of any city in India in basic cleanliness. Very little littering. Outdoor urination and defecation are non-existent, even in the poorest areas (yes, I have visited them). Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad are all open air trash heaps in comparison.

You do not hear a single honk despite traffic volumes comparable to Bangalore and Mumbai. You can cross the roads at traffic signals without fearing being run over by someone skipping a red light.

Overbridges and underpasses are actually usable, and not places for open urination.

These societies have political and racial problems too. But somewhere, they maintain a basic outward decency that seems elusive to most Indians irrsepective of their religious or political beliefs.

Most of India's problems are completely self-inflicted.
