When you look at it, if Kima and McNulty hadn't pushed that 5 years on Marvin in S1E4, Kima wouldn't have gotten shot during the Orlando undercover🤔

Kima and McNulty pull up to the courthouse to squeeze Marvin after a hand to hand bust. Because he’s got a heavy rap sheet, they push the Assistant State's Attorney to slap him with a 5 year prison bid to try and force him into flipping on Avon crew. Marvin stands tall, tells them alright he will take the 5 year stretch😂

The Major Crime Unit buried him in county intake, where he sat behind bars. A few chapters later, when Orlando walks into the booking room, Marvin clocks Orlando's face on sight. The second Orlando gets marched past the bars, Marvin drops a dime directly to StringerBell from the jailhouse phone, alerting the towers that their clean frontman is locked up and talking to the state police.

That exact phone call gives Avon crew the time to backdate the strip club's paperwork, strip Orlando of his position, and design that ambush for the upcoming undercover drug buy, the exact chaotic hand of where Kima ends up taking two for the company 🥲
