The 10-year continues to race higher, and this is putting pressure on the markets as a whole.

We have not seen these levels in decades, and the market is trying to figure out how to absorb it while small- and mid-cap companies are taking the brunt of this move.

Not much anyone can do about it. In my opinion, it is still best not to get overly obsessed with yields. Continue to focus on strong portfolio management — holding high-quality names, maintaining a strong cash position, and focusing on the earnings stories across individual companies and their higher-timeframe technicals.

These rising yields will continue to apply pressure on many areas of the market until something changes.

The big resistance zone is 5.2% �� 5.6%.
