The managing director of a fertiliser supply company has been remanded until Sept 16 over delays in distributing compound fertiliser, known as Baja 3, to padi farmers in Kedah.

The man, in his 30s, is being investigated for allegedly submitting documents containing false particulars.

MACC previously said the agriculture and food security minister and the ministry's secretary-general might also be called in over the matter.

There are two types of good companies. One with ample resources, these tend to last longer because they have the cushion.
