Last minute decision to East Side and catch first HS hockey game of season did not disappoint. Filled bottle with third best tasting water in MN, talked to one of favorite hockey coaches of all time and watched the Alma mater pull off a gritty upset. Missed having dad along.

Discovered Sanchez Burrito in Little Falls last Autumn. Two stops past 24hours because it's that good! Authentic, fun family owned/operated by super nice people make it a special place. The kids making tortillas with Play-Do only adds to the charm. A must stop on Hiway 10.

Haven't missed many Section 8 hockey championships the past 40 years. Last night's 8A contest between EGF and Warroad in Hockeytown USA was as good as it gets with Warroad winning in 2OT. The history at the Gardens and among the crowd is unlike anything else.

@PaulJohnsonMN @shawngorham @Jensrichards14 Not sure where in NW MN you are from but there is some phenomenal gravel riding in the White Earth State Forest. Starting at Pinehurst Resort you can do loops from 20-100 miles long.
