@RBReich Absolutely a strong union influence helps nonunion workers. When I was a carpenter in Santa Barbara, a very wealthy town, the most I ever made per hour was $23 an hour. when I moved to San Francisco, strong union town, I ended up making $37 an hour. Even though I wasn’t union.
