Small, unattractive clubs paying over the odds to attract mediocre talent isn’t new
Elanga, Wissa, Pope, Wolte, Joelinton, Thiaw, Botman, Barnes
That’s £860m on mid table fodder right there
A refereeing masterclass changed the game and gave complete control to PSG. Every 50/50, every time PSG dived the whistle blew. He didn’t allow time for the corner before half time, he booked Mosquera for nothing. Arsenal denied stonewall penalty.
He destroyed the contest.
@CoachOnTheTyne Don’t think Ramsey at LW is the answer, like to see a 4–1-4-1 formation, Ramsey and Bruno as 10s behind Wolt, get them close to him so he can be effective.
@danjpeg Some won’t like it but I’m ok with having young talent, developing them then selling at a huge profit. IF we ever get to consisten PL challengers then we can change that model but for now, I’m ok with it.
no issue with NUFC being a “selling club” when they handle it like they’ve handled Gordon. The limits on wages and transfer fees will exist for a long while yet. Selling to buy is fine if we get recruitment right. I’m ok with being a stepping stone club for elite young talent
@JC_NUFC16@tfalex1892@GianfrancoShoIa Think they will have an eye on squad building for Europe. Also if you want Tonali etc on top form, their place needs to be under threat. Willock doesn’t threaten anyone 😂
Gordon was decent but £70m for him is great business from Newcastle honestly. Just need the board to actually reinvest it properly this time rather than waste it ⚫⚪️ #nufc#gordon#barca
