Not a term we use for many people we know. But I had a 2-hour conversation with a man who fits that description — and you know him too, if you’ve ever listened to Christian radio.

His name is Chuck Swindoll.

Chuck is 91 now and as sharp as he has ever been. His eyesight is diminishing, but his insights for living are stronger than ever. Texas schools can now require the Ten Commandments to be displayed in public school classrooms, following a recent federal appeals court ruling.

Some will call this controversial. I call it a reminder.

The Ten Commandments are not just religious words on a wall. They reflect moral truths that helped shape law, order, conscience, and accountability.

Our children need more than information. They need formation. They need truth, wisdom, and a moral foundation strong enough to carry them through a confused world.

Faith does not weaken education. It gives it a conscience.

Here's the truth some preachers are afraid to say: God loves you exactly as you are — and He loves you too much to leave you that way.

He doesn't want your religion. He doesn't want your rituals. He wants your repentance, your trust, and your life.
We cannot bend the Bible to fit the culture.

We cannot make God in our own image. And we cannot compromise the message just because the world finds it offensive.
The Gospel has always been offensive to pride. That's precisely what makes it so powerful.

Don't water it down. Don't dress it up. Just preach it.
