@ubereats delivery estimates getting consistently worse for anyone else? I’m talking 3-4x worse the vast, vast majority of the time. Why have an under 30 min filter if you’re +30-60 mins? Constant bait and switch expectation is not the brand you want to build (but are)
@sweatystartup@ClintFiore@Starlink Just because gogo sucks doesn't make $250 / mo a bargain + gogo is irrelevant for the vast majority of GA planes and pilots. GA use was rare when it was at $250 / mo. $50 a month -- now that was a bargain. And the adoption proved it.
@JoshDMartin@Starlink@elonmusk Particularly annoying is how many very vocal advocates this cost @Starlink. Like many GA pilots I have been a huge booster for the co and products the past couple years. Now? I just kicked my service to the curb. 😕
@JoshDMartin@Starlink Yeah, this was kind of a d!€k move @elonmusk
Starlink now more than insurance and hangars; now impossible to justify. 0 chance of 10-20x variable costs. 100% aviation gouge w/ pricing based on a thumb in the wind. Would’ve been less meatball math to decide to support GA.
@xDaily What are all the other people doing then? Still a ton of people at the co. Maybe celebrating the wrong thing/still sucking at capital allocation?
@BarebellsUSA how bout some dark chocolate flavors? Dark choco caramel… Dark chocolate salted peanut caramel… Dark chocolate dough!!! I volunteer to be a taste tester too.
@garmin seriously, ~$18k to unlock RVSM in a G600? Maybe follow @elonmusk’s lead (did GA a real solid w/ Starlink pricing and massively ramped adoption). Your unlock is the kind of gouge that looks good in excel but isn’t helping build loyalty or fandom for an ecosystem.
@RnaudBertrand@elonmusk picking this up for co #7 so we can have a commercially viable and broadly available version within 12 mos? If so I’m down to help. Arriving 10 years younger will def help make the long ride to Mars not suck.
@Delta why on earth isn’t there a standard cabin temp on ur flights? How bout a nice round 70? 72? Or split the diff and go 71. Set it and forget it. Everything else has a checklist in aviation. The cabin is now at 77 degrees at our cruising altitude and the heat is still on. 🤦♂️
@elonmusk ATC has been using 2 cans and a string for a long time. Anyone who flies or steps in a tower knows the systems are OLD. We’re lucky we have controllers that are great in spite of the tools. We’d be toast w/o ‘em. Been a min since having a leader that flies and is technical, no?
A great post from Babylon Health this am ($BBLN) w/ 371% growth in Q3, at scale -- growing like a tech company. Who else in "digital health" grows this fast at scale? Already at $60M run rate per release -- basic math suggests a big 2022 coming. Am long this team, mission and co!
This shouldn't be groundbreaking, but for some leaders, it needs repeating. Respecting your team is the first step towards creating an innovative, resilient, and connected #CompanyCulture. #Leadership#HR

I don't think it's a one-size-fits-all solution. #HybridWork will be a model we tinker with for years to come, and it all starts with getting feedback and actionable insight from your team. #Leadership#FutureOfWork#CompanyCulture

Excellent piece here from @katenorthrup. Avoiding #Burnout starts with understanding yourself. Set boundaries & hold yourself to them. One that works for me: eat meals together — no devices, no email, no texting, etc. Family enforcement too! #Leadership

Such great advice here. Failure often teaches us the most important lessons in life and business. It’s frankly riskier long term to avoid learning those hard earned lessons. #Leadership#Entrepreneurship
