A lack of trust, or losing trust, of those we influence and desire to influence is a near impossible obstacle to overcome.
11 But let all who take refuge in you be glad;

That first line got me.
Biblical leadership isn’t built in big speeches.
It’s built in the daily moments.
The conversations in the hallway.
The rides home after practice.
The moments in the office.
The correction, encouragement, laughter, and honesty.
Discipleship happens while walking through life together.
Sometimes it’s simply reminding your athletes what’s godly, pointing them back to truth, and being willing to say, “I’ve been there too.”
That’s how culture changes. One conversation at a time.

One of the fastest ways coaches lose trust is when their audio doesn’t match their video.
