Russia Took Marina. Why Is She Still Not Home?
Marina Branitskaya, a young woman with cerebral palsy and hydrocephalus, cannot walk or speak and depends entirely on others for her care.
She was taken from the Oleshky Psychoneurological Internat during Russia’s occupation of the Kherson region in 2022.
The @emile_fondation has traced and located Marina. Together with her relatives, we helped prepare the documentation, and an official request for her return has been submitted through the Ukrainian authorities.
Yet Marina is still not home.
Finding someone is only the first step. As long as Russia refuses to cooperate in facilitating returns, families remain trapped in uncertainty while their loved ones remain out of reach.
Marina is not a statistic. She is someone’s granddaughter. She is loved. She deserves to be reunited with her family.
Share her story. Bring Marina home.
