Thank you to everyone. God, Myself, Milan who fought me on going deeper within myself, I had to scrap 2 drafts to get to this point, this project wouldn’t be as introspective without you. Sabog (my bro, thank you so much for everything 🙌🏿)Quantum Flush, Jimah (I stress you out so much with changes and takes, thank you for effortlessly doing this with me), KaySo, Christo, MOG, Shaker, Harry Chaplin, Hashim (Thank you for all the last minute turnarounds), Caleb Menka and everyone who worked on this.

In the last picture in the slide, I was out of it.
To me I was the same person but to a lot of people I had become just a product, a free bank and inhuman. The confusion in that was draining and I didn’t have the guidance needed.

In all this, I am thankful for the journey and embrace who I am and who i am becoming. I am learning to be unapologetically myself and accept things for what they are and not what I want them to be.

Had dreams of playing football in Europe when I was little, I could do a little one two. I was always the kid playing with the older boys for C9 Redemption park. They’d call me up to play for them.

This picture was taken at C8 No.2 School park. Got together with a few players from our youth team Ajax C7, Saint Joseph, C7 AC Milan among others and won the tournament in a day on some frɛ frɛ kɔbɔ tin.

Korley, King, Kabu, Ozigi, Shangama, Nii Kwaw, Joshua, me then Razak fight like 10 million times but we still kick it.

At 17, I got a job at Xlimit Studios. I started out as a cleaner of the space, and running errands for the owner Kobbie, and artists who’d come work here. Over time I was managing the studio. This is where I learnt how to make beats and record folks. I had to be around music somehow and still earn a living and this was the way for me. Shaker in the cut.
