The UK government promised to end the need for emergency food.
📣 So we spoke to MPs about how they can act to end hunger.
People are turning to food banks due to rising living costs, unaffordable housing, and a lack of support from social security.
These are all things that we can fix. 💚
A huge THANK YOU 🙏to @CurrieMotors Twickenham for their fantastic support!
As part of their football donation scheme we're thrilled to be a chosen charity! This generous donation will buy new tools for our Spade gardening 🌱service supporting even more local Disabled people!

Really excited for this upcoming series, shifting the narrative on physical activity and how different it can look for Disabled people.
Physical activity is a right, not a luxury - and we deserve to enjoy movement in a way that suits us!
Our office is closed Bank Holiday: Monday 31 August.
We reopen 11am Tuesday 1 September
For emergency support during this time please contact Richmond Borough’s Adult Social Care Emergency Duty team on: 020 8744 2442, available 24 hours at weekends/bank holidays.

The Government are failing to learn the lessons of Grenfell. We say Disabled people deserve better.
Almost half (41%) of the Disabled residents of Grenfell Tower died in the fire. The inquiry recommended fire evacuation plans called PEEPs (Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans).
Ofgem has announced an increase of 4% to the Energy Price Cap from 1 October. 💡🔌
Changes can be complex to navigate & options confusing.
Alex, our Energy Advisor can help.
